Disney Dream - Walt Disney Theater entertainment

4 night Bahamas Cruise next May and we probably won't hit all four shows. Curious to see which ones you may consider "must dos" and which ones may be skipped.

Myself and my wife (we both enjoy lounge time and adult activities) and our 6 year old daughter who loves Oceaneers Club. We have the main dining seating.

Villians Tonight
Comedy act
Disney's Believe

Golden Mickeys and Villains Tonight are the best! we weren't huge villain fans at the time and that show completely took us by surprise - LOVED it. Believe is also showing on the Fantasy, in case you sail again and want to wait for repeat shows. It's a cute story, and worth seeing once. But if you're limiting yourself between these options I say Golden Mickeys and Villains!

We skipped Bleieve when we sailed on the Fantasy and I saw clips on TV and was kinda glad I did. I thought about watching them on YouTube but I know if I did that I wouldnt want to see them in person and youtube never does the actual show proper justice.

I think you should see each of the 3 Disney shows, but skip the variety act. It seems everyone has different opinions when it comes to the shows. You will find fans and detractors for each of the 3 main shows so you should probably see all 3 and make up your own mind. As a PP mentioned, Believe is also performed on the Fantasy so if you have any plans to sail on the Fantasy in the future, you could skip that one.

I second Golden Mickey's and Villains tonight. Excellent shows. We watched them on both of our cruises my daughters loved them so much but we skipped believe second time around. It's a good show but not worth seeing twice. The other two were fantastic.

Believe was just ok to me. You can always watch it from your room, we did that for a couple shows. Golden Mickeys was cute.

Yeah, I'm always looking for something to put on during my nap.

Really, what we're just taking a look at is how we want to plan our evenings and such. Our plan is two park days before we sail, then a 4 nt Bahamas cruise then another day and a half in the park when we return so we know down time will be at a premium.

The first two park days will be busy, we know that. Departure day is always busy, no matter what you do or how early you arrive. We really want to take advantage of something fun at Castaway Cay and everyone loves the last Sea Day so we're trying to see what night we may want to skip the MDR and/or night time entertainment and just relax by the pool all night and watch whatever movie will play out there.

Never been to Golden Mickeys but we love Villians tonight and the family comedy show we saw in the theatre was great.

We booked back to back cruises just for Villains tonight. Ok, maybe that was a slight exaggeration, but the cast on the Dream in February was nothing short of amazing. If you have a dud Hades the show can easily be a miss. Like others have said Believe can be a miss for adults, but I think the variety acts might have a bigger miss with kids.

I do not like shows. Do not. That said, I've willingly watched Villains Tonight twice without complaint. I agree with PP that some of that depends on Hades..but I love the snarky humor. If you want sugar and spice, VT is not it...if you like a bit of vinegar then it's great.

I agree with most people here and would suggest skipping Believe. I saw it on the Fantasy and it was a bit too cheesy. We're going on the Dream this August and will be skipping it. I'd suggest seeing a movie that night instead either the theater or watch one on deck. I'm definitely looking forward to Golden Mickeys and Villains though!

Villains Tonight is one of our favorite shows! We're excited to see it again on our next cruise.
