Hi everyone. We're booked for this cruise also. First cruise, myself(61), and son (30) in one room, daughter(28), her son (1) and the kids dad and his wife in another cabin. We are so excited - love, love, Disney - all have annual passes and we took our grandson to Chef Mickey's for his first birthday three weeks ago. I would love to participate in the fish extender gifts, so add me to the list. I love to craft, have three cricuts, but do not sew so I can't promise what my fish extender will look like, but the planning is the fun.

My Mom (50ish) and I (22) will be joining y'all on this cruise. It will be our 6th disney cruise. We can't wait to see the new ship!!!!!! We are doing this cruise as a graduation gift for me (08/11) we may be doing birthdays but not sure yet.

This is our first cruise and we are looking forward to it. At least I am - I'm not sure if they are that excited - I'm just getting my daughter to help make the gifts. From the looks of it, it doesn't appear this cruise will be too crowded. My son purposely picked this time because of this and because he is in law school and will be between classes at this time.

The last cruises we done were not full because lots of cruisers with no kids, it was weird, Im kinda wondering what it will be like to be cruising with lots of kids again. We picked this time of year because we are doing the marathon idiots, I will be ordering room service at mile marker 20

youre SO lucky doing the west bound ta, we all done it last year, man it was FANTASTIC, we then done the 15 night pc cruise in january, Im wondering how the heck Im going to cope with 4 nights !!!!

We just booked (me and DH) for a back to back on Jan 3rd and Jan 8.

Hi! Welcome to our cruise. I'm so glad to see more people are booking and ready for a great time. I agree we should start a list of those people who want to participate in the FE exchange. It would be helpful to know who's coming so we can start preparing the gifts. I'm not sure how to make the list but I will be glad to give our information. We are three families in two cabins.

We are really excited about this cruise, our only other cruise was The Big Red
Boat when Ryan was 10 and Kristin was 8 so it's been a loooonnnng time ago.
I hope the weather will cooperate. We live in Florida so we know how unpredictable it can be in January.

Hi! Just to let you know a little about us, I am a retired teacher. I taught in Detroit for 34 years. Both of my children will be going, my son is 30, single living in Arlington, VA. He graduated from Michigan State University with a masters in Computer Engineering an he is currently studying at Georgetown University law and hopes to be a lawyer in a few years. My daughter is 28 and recently divorced. She has moved to Florida near me with her one year old son, Xavier. Also going are the kids father and his wife. He retired as a bus driver in Michigan, moved down to Florida and worked as a bus driver at the Space Center until recently. His wife works as a CNA in a nursing home in Titusville, Fl.

This is our first cruise, but we are great Disney addicts. We all have annual passes and we have stayed at Contemporary, Carrribian Beach, Port Orleans, andBeach Club (our favorite) We make many day trips there, because I live only 20 minutes from Disney.

My son usually comes down during each of his vacations and we go to each park at least once. My grandson had his first birthday at Chef Mickey's and has been to all the parks except Animal Kingdom.

Let me know if anyone has any more questions.

As far as the FE gift goes, one gift per cabin is fine, although I plan to have something for each member of the cabin included.

so a little bit about us too:

Me: Anne-Karine. I am a neuropsychologist. I live in Gatineau, Québec (canada). It's right beside Ottawa (Canada's capital!). I was in montreal to do my masters degree and PhD degree, but now back in my home town. I speak french first, but I would say I am bilingual. I am the disney addict, but my husband enjoys it too, and he is mostly happy to go cruising!

My husband (Mike) works for Telus, a telecommunication company, as a computer technology specialist (I think that's his title anyway!).

We don't have any children yet but we have a dog and two cats ! Our first disney cruise was in October 2009, for our honeymoon. We are really excited to go on our 2nd and 3rd cruise in January. Especially because in Canada we have extremely cold weather in January it will be good to get away from the snow!!!

Anyway, I read sooooooo many trip reports, I can't believe it's still 6 months until we go.
