Ho Hum, my first night back to work after a few nights off.
I am an emergency vet nurse in a hospital in Edinburgh, I am hoping I dont see much action tonight!!

We are cruising for the first time with DW, DS9, DD7 and my parents. Looks like we have adjoining rooms on the 6th level I will post rooms for the Fish hanger and we are interested in other meet up info. First cruise of any kind for the family. My parents have been on other lines before but it is their first Disney Cruise. We will be at the parks prior to the cruise.

I do not see anything on here about the fish hangers. Is there anyone on here interested in doing this? Friends who have gone on many more of the Disney Cruises have talked so much about them I would like to if there is an interest.

DW and I intend to renew our Vows onboard. We sail just before our 11 anniversary. I am trying to set it up so that Mickey and Minnie both are witnesses. Maybe Pirate night with us in our full regalia. still working with Disney weddings on the details.

We attented a vow renewal on our panama cruise in january, it was very sweet but no mickey and minniw, I was trying to post some pics for you but I must have them on my facebook account rather then photobucket ...sorry,
We will be brining all our pirate stuff to be sure !
Nobody has mentioned fish extenders on here, I usually dont bother but do bring little gifts, our last cruise there was over 100 taking part so it was kinda crazy what with our weight limits !!!!!!!!

I am planning on making some things my kids can use as a calling card sort of thing as well so if we don't get a group to do the fish extenders They can still use them for that for connecting with new friends.
When we usually travel to the parks my son and daughter invariable make friends wit Kids from UK or elsewhere in Europe. Hope this will let them stay in touch better. Perhaps get them interested in a pen pal thing.

My DH and I are going on the cruise and being joined by 2 of our friends. So that is four of us. It is our first time cruising and my Bday celebration. Let's just say I am over 30 and too close to 40.

you guys want me to do a list of who going on the first post I can do that no probs with (again IF you want ) our real names and where we are from, just so if we plan to do a meet or anything we will know who is who.

I am definitely interested in doing the Fish extenders. We should start a listing of people on here so we can get a good count! It's our first cruise...but we are all in for having fun with the fish extender exchange. Also let me know if ganandem needs help with the DD 10th birthday. My DD is 18, and I remember how more exciting those birthdays were. My DS is 5 and he talks about birthdays until it is Christmas time and then he can hardly wait for Easter.

Anything over 40 isn't ancient...but as I sneak up on it (I will be turning 38), I seem to get more nervous. Not about being old...but wondering how old is old. I used to think it was 30...now it feels more like 70...hopefully 100.

The boy is a big leggo fan and video games, he is a big Disney Pirate as well. The daughter is a princess through and through and she loves music and dancing.
Both are almost as big of a Disney fan as their parents are.

Seriously...100 is ancient

I see you are heading to MNSSHP. Our family will miss it for the first time in 3 years. This year we are doing the Jan Cruise instead. Have a blast and make sure you dress up as well as the kids. My DW went as Jane from Tarzan last year and I as an explorer( I am past my loin cloth days.) We steam-punked them all up with alligator hide (faux) and lots of Brass work on things. I even included a Disney explorers club badge on my helmet. DW posed with Disney's Jane and Tarzan it was a big Hoot and everyone remarked about her. It made her trip.

Will definitely dress up. We made poodle skirts and we are putting our favorite characters in outlines on them for us girls. The guys haven't decided yet. Can't wait...our first MNSSHP. Then our first cruise in January. Cannot wait.

Sounds great. The guys could do greaser style jean jackets with MM logo on them like a MC gang logo or they could go the other way and try to do the sweater and slacks thing of the old 50's and 60 MMclub.

this would look great on the back of a jacket with a M.C. added to make it look like a motorcycle club logo.
