Disney discounted room only offer on UK-Expedia; ended 31 March.

After toying with the idea of staying off-site at Bonnet Creek, I decided to book at All-Star Sports again this year. Disney makes staying on-site so gosh darn easy/convenient I just couldn't book off-site. :flower3:

My DD and I stay at ASSp last year (September) in the Surfs Up section and it was nice. The resort is smaller and the walk to the buses and eatery is short. Last year we paid just over $72 per room per night (booking on Expedia UK) so I'll keep an eye out for better deals.:rolleyes1

This year we are traveling with a bigger group and will need two rooms.
October 22-26
2 Preferred Rooms (Surfs Up/prefered section)=$676.81 ($84.60 per room, per night)
Compared to Expedia US= $1116 or Disney website=$1160
Approx. 42% savings off rack rate

Just waiting for my confirmation number to post so I can add it to MDE. :hourglass

I never got a Disney confirmation showing up ( the one that starts with a 4) . My reservation does show as confirmed though which when I read earlier posts people said their confirmation numbers didn't show up until it says confirmed.

Am I looking in the wrong place? I emailed expedia and they said they tried to call the hotel to get it but couldn't get through ? And they want me to call expedia in uk...? Does everyone have to call or is yours just showing up?

I just booked last week and had to call expedia to get the 12 digit refs. The booking showed up as confirmed but with reference like vf34fb45 which MDE didn't recognise.

Calling them resolved the issue but it took a little while to explain why I needed a different reference and explaining that they would need to call whoever they book disney rooms through. It's all linked now and the savings were worth a little hassle to get the ref number.

I emailed them (my booking was for last November) via FB and received my confirmation numbers. Maybe try FB?

I am having the same problem. I emailed Expedia UK and have not heard back so I decided to call Disney to see they could help. (after I tried searching for the number myself online) This is the phone number the online system give to call for help-- (407) 939-1947. Not sure if I missed dialed but I got dining reservations. When I was finally able to reach a cast member she said she could get me the reservation numbers and just like that I had them.

I'm not sure if I just got lucky and reached an experienced/advanced cast member or if you can now call them directly to get it. Either way give it a try!:yay:

Looks like FESTIVAL10 is no longer working. Does anyone have a new promo code or will I regret not booking last week?

Darn, I forgot there was a code last year. I checked retailmenot.com I don't see any valid codes available right now. I'd love to shave $10 off each night to match the price I got last year. :laundy:

I checked there as well. Maybe there will be another one before we go. How far in advance did you book ?

I just booked on Monday. Was thinking of trying Bonnet Creek but love all the extras that Disney provides. Last year I paid $72 per night to stay at ASSP. This year I'm paying $84 so I'd love to shave a little off if I can. :moped:

Mobile20new will take 20 British pounds off your total. It's not much, but every bit helps!

I used my mobile but did not download the app. Unfortunately, reservation doesn't show any children so here I go with that issue ....

Update: while Mobile20new will give you an awesome discount, it also drops all the children off your reservation and the only way To add them is to call, which negates any savings. I spent all day trying to add the children back to the reservation (not as easy as the orbitz thread implies and there is NO live chat), I cancelled and paid 10$ per person more with a different code. I will post that code when I find it again but it ended in Jan15.

I will also repost to show my savings when I finally figure it all out. Now I await my Disney conf number

I just booked 3 nights at All Star Music for mid-October (weeknights).

Price on Disney's website was $330 with taxes/fees.

Price on Expedia UK was $237 with taxes/fees, plus I used the MOBILE20NEW code which brought my price down to $207!! That's $69/night! :cool1:

Savings of $123 for 3 nights!

My itinerary has already changed from "booked" to "confirmed" but the confirmation # does not begin with 4. Will that change again at some point?

Did you have children on your reservation? I had to cancel and rebook because I could not add the children to my MDE
