Oh, boy!! We're supposed to leave a week from tomorrow (snip) We need some pixie dust that she gets under control soon so we can make our trip as planned.

:grouphug: :grouphug:
My sister is diabetic and while we were in Epcot for the food and wine festival, she almost passed out. Of course the heat and no shade did not help. Stress can really take it out of whack, infact any kind of health issue can be affected.

PD to you :wizard: :wizard: :grouphug: :grouphug:

This is great. :goodvibes

Oh, boy!! We're supposed to leave a week from tomorrow and my daughter's in intensive care. She has diabetes (since she was 10) and went way out of control. She has been under a lot of stress lately, and like a pressure cooker, when it gets to be too much pressure - she blows. Her blood sugar was so high that the machine couldn't measure it. Last night it was down to a little over 200, but this morning she's vomiting again. Usually once she gets an insulin drip and gets hydrated, she bounces right back and would be out of the hospital in a couple of days. We need some pixie dust that she gets under control soon so we can make our trip as planned.
Sending lots of :grouphug: :grouphug: & Pixie Dust.
I hope your DD is better soon.

Legalslave -- lots of PD and prayers you and your daughter's way.

Tinkaroo -- that was WAY too close. That game is always guaranteed to be a good one, but it made our team look very scrappy!

Sorry all I haven't been around much lately.
Getting things in order.
Also getting some things on E-bay.
All Disney if anyone is interested.
Check out auctions for diaz93056.

so Nick is just learning to REALLY talk and is saying a lot of new words - he's not so good with his s's yet! he says them more like sh than s

DH and I have been cracking up all day long b/c Nick's new word today is sit :rotfl:

If I had Diet Coke, it would be all over the screen! It reminds me of my friend's little girl. She couldn't say "tr". Instead, it came out "f". People used to just love to ask her to say "truck."

Quick question. I'm going to start packing the suitcases. How did you pack the shirts? Will the designs crack if I fold them, or should I lay them flat?

Glynis - congrats on the weight loss and an upcoming trip to WDW! I can't think of 2 better things! I will trade you some advice for touring WDW for your advice for touring DL - I hope to be there next month, and I haven't been since I was 10! ;)

I think the best place to start is here, and then also consider purchasing the Passporter guidebook (www.passporter.com), the Unofficial Guide to WDW guide book, and/or a subscription to Tour Guide Mike (www.tourguidemike.com - if you're interested, I think I could send you a link for $3 off the subscription). All are extremely helpful! And of course, ask away here!

I will gladly answer any questions you have. My family just went in September and had a great time! I've been there every 2 years for the last 13 years, so I know it pretty well. If I don't know an answer, I can certainly find out for you. My brother lives 10 minutes away and goes with his girlfriend every weekend.

I folded them with designs folded inside.
I also unpack when we arrive.
I hung the shirts.
pants ect. went in the dresser.
Denise can you believe you leave in 2 days.
Are the kids antsy or what.
Ramiro couldn't sleep the night before we left.
For that matter I couldn't either.
You all have a great trip.

I folded around the design (if that makes sense), but left the design flat.

Don't laugh, ok you will, but I rolled mine - they always say that when you roll clothing when you pack you get less wrinkles. So I rolled them and they were great. There were less wrinkles than usual too.

Legalslave Here is some pixie dust for you :wizard: :wizard: . I took care of my grandmother for the last few years of her life and she was an insulin dependent diabetic so I know how quickly things can go south. I hope she rebounds quickly. One of the men that I work at the Restaurant with just found out that his 4 yr old son has type 1 diabetes. He requires 3 shots a day right now and they are very early in the learning process. Diabetes does not run on either side of their family either.

Denise. I also folded around my designs and put them in space saver bags. They came out fine.

Deb

sending good thoughts your way..hope your daughter gets better in time to go...

I am only on page 196, so I am way behind. I wanted to say before I started to catch up that I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. I only have 3days 12 hours and 10 minutes or 84 hours 5049 minutes and 302960 seconds till our trip.

Good luck and best of health to your daughter. I said a prayer for her recovery.

Denise - I pack my stuff in ziploc backs - folded the shirts and had no problems -

I highly reccomend placing each outfit in its own ziploc bag - all we had to do each day was pull out the bag and go - it made it easy for me, DH or Julia to pick out an outfit and a change of clothes for the day!!!
