legalslave -- here is PD for your daughter :wizard: and also for your trip. :wizard:

Denise and poohangel -- might not be on here to wish you both wonderful trips. Hope the holiday trips to WDW are as magical as they can possibly be. :flower1: :flower1:

Denise - I pack my stuff in ziploc backs - folded the shirts and had no problems -

I highly reccomend placing each outfit in its own ziploc bag - all we had to do each day was pull out the bag and go - it made it easy for me, DH or Julia to pick out an outfit and a change of clothes for the day!!!

Kate -- I do the same thing. I also roll things to fit in the nooks and crannies of the suitcases.

Thanks to all for the pixie dust, prayers and good wishes. I just got back from the hospital. She's still in intensive care, but is alert and keeping down fluids. Blood sugar is down to 190. Hopefully she'll be moved to a regular room tomorrow.

On my way home, I stopped at Staples and had my index cards with my daily WDW plan on them laminated. Anyone else will probably say I'm nuts - but no one here would - right?

Hope she is better and home soon. :wizard: :grouphug:

Well, we're 99.98% packed. The suitcases are even zipped. I'm collecting the last of the little stuff to go in the carry ons. We have 3 suitcases/1 hang-up to check. For carry ons we have 2 small pull ones, 2 small totes, and the kids backpacks. For 8 nights/9 days, I thought we did pretty well!

Anything weird or USEFUL I might have forgotten? I did separate all clothes between the 3 suitcases, so if one gets lost at least we'll have some clothes.

BTW, I did the Donald Duck on the back of the shirt, and it looks so cute! Gotta go pack some more stuff.

Legalslave- Hope your DD recovers quickly and well!

I just cannot believe how many people either personally have or have a relative that has diabetes! I too am a diabetic. Just reading the past 3 pages or so has really opened my eyes! Wow!!!

I thought I'd quickly check in between setting up my new computer (Love It) and now moving the old one into my bedroom. Can't believe how long it took to set the new one up. I got a wireless keyboard and mouse and a video cam too. All new stuff. It will take me a while to figure out how to use everything.

Deb

Denise, Are you taking any shorts? It looks like it might be a little cold when we are there. I had a few packed but I am thinking maybe capris and jeans now.

This is the card I designed to coordinate - I know you have all seen it a million times in my sig but no one IRL has and I just can't seem to get them to pose for a good pic

what do you all think?

Sorry it's been awhile, but I thought I would post some pics. Work, Birthdays and Holiday Decorating has taken it's toll. Who knew that you get tired quicker at 38 then you do at 37?

Is this Julia's Belle?

And this was from a Christmas Tree Farm, tree was too full to put on ornaments so I'm going back to my fake and putting the real one we found in the front yard.

My mother was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes several years ago. For quite a while she was fine, and only had to monitor her diet and prick her finger once a day. Then, it escalated, and now she's on dialysis 3 times a week for 3 and a half hours. Watching her go through it, and seeing her arm after the treatments, really opened my eyes. That was one of the major reasons I thought long and hard about my surgery.

I hope that all of you with diabetes really take care of yourselves. You are too valuable not to.

Mac,

I've said it before and I'll say it again: You have one GORGEOUS little girl! She rivals all those princesses! She looks so happy in every picture. Obviously she had a wonderful time! What great parents you are to give your little girl such a wonderful experience!

I like it, I like it.

Great pictures Mac -

that is not Julia's Belle at Storytime - I have actually never seen her before and I know this may sound odd - but as many times as I went in October - I think she is new - I think I have heard that the end of October is when they do shuffles and reviews and I am betting she is a new Belle!

The other picture of Belle you have we met at CRT in May and at Akershus in Ocotber -looks like you saw her at Akershus - she's sweet but I don't think she is overly chatty!!

I did notice that your Jasmine's are the same girl - were both times at Epcot?

Mya looks adorable and so happy!!!!!
