My wedding papers Shanda sent me at the begining of teh year say you get to keep the cake server set, but if you look online at the website, it's not listed anymore. I don't which one to believe! lol!

it wasn't offered to us..Couples before us got the "DFTW" watches..we got embroidered robes..people after us got a beach towel...I would trade my robe for the cake server that I could actually pass down to my daughter!

i did get the watches..Ebay has them!! LOL

These are only ones from my camera, which someone carried for me, and a couple from other relatives..

It was H-O-T that day. About 147 degrees. Or so it felt in the polyester suit. Cant imagine what she felt in the dress!

I got my hair done on the ship by Jade in Senses Spa. She did wonderful. It looked gorgeous and lasted all night even in the heat and humidity. It was $70 and I tipped her $20. It did take her about 1 1/2 hours to style though.

I LOVED seeing the photos from the two weddings that just happened...time is flying for us and this makes me even more excited!

I went to Staples today and picked up some boxes to mail out our stuff to the ship, I am dreading to see how much it will cost

Ummm I don't have the answers but I made an appt for me and my mom to get our hair done at the salon...I wish they had someone to help with make up but my sister said she could do mine..I got it done at MAC and it looked great, no way I could do it though!

The onboard coordinator said he was not allowed to take a tip.

I can't answer the other question, we bought the package that included the CD.

Oh, as an after thought, we did tip the hair dresser, photographer, and restroom attendant (long story see my trip report when I get there).

I am so jealous they give you the cake server now..

But it looked AMAZING!

What was the other option? I had heard watches, and I'm a watch nut, but not sure how good they are. The cake server is cool, but it'll end up in a drawer.. never seen again for a year.. but I suppose it can come out yearly..

We got waffle robes with DFTW embroidered on them and a red tote. We wore them on the ship the night we went to the club in our PJ's (our groups tradition).

here is a BAD clip I have..we were walking around doing Fish Extender gifts and my friends got a shot in the robe..what I said is :
"I am Ninja bride!!!! ...I asked Rick if he wanted to wear his robe, but he said 'no, i can't be more Ninja than you!!' "

The watches are cheapy stainless but I loved it..I wear mine when I am going somewhere that I don't want to wear my expensive watch

Goofy - I did tip the OB..I had envelopes for her and for the piano player. I really hadn't "planned" on tipping the piano player, but he was so amazing with playing our wedding song for us in the bar before the wedding and during the wedding..I gave him more.
I just put it in a thank you card and handed it to them.

I just wanted to let everyone know, I spoke with disney today about our cake issue. They called me back from the letter we wrote. They were extremely nice and apologetic. She also gave us a onboard credit for our next cruise. So we will be doing a anniversary cruise in 2013!

Does anyone know if the piano player for the ceremony is the same guy that plays in a piano bar on the ship and how good he is? We're thinking of changing our 1st dance from a song on a cd to one on the piano.

Adam was the piano player in the lounge..before his set one night , our OB arranged to have him audition our wedding song. I had a CD and the sheet music for Ben Fold's and he played it perfectly! I started crying during the audition!
