I agree..It is upsetting to read about stuff that "could happen but probably won't"

I didn't think we could take my bouquet out either and were happily surprised when we were told we could. Apparently, customs doesn't allow plants (in soil) to be brought into the county..Cut flowers are no problem

As far as "LET US" well, we had 2 30 gallon footlockers, 2 suitcases and a carryon each when coming back through customs. I think the guy looked at us and thought about how long he would be there goign through everything.

We also got our flowers, and a few other things we probably shouldnt have. Just walked through..



And I wasn't calling anyone out on bashing tom. I just seems, understandably so, that once one negative is mentioned, they ALL come out, while people tend to forget the positives. We shouldn't be adding to the stress with 1000 What-ifs in the mind of the next brides..

I thought I was the only one who felt this way! No need to bash people and my motto is go with the flow...I think some people on here are just way to serious lately...

I have been on the boards for over a year and have been able to gain such good insight and have made some great friends...this is one of my favorite threads lol I hope to see many more happy brides on here!

I will look when I am at work...the only reason I know is b/c I am mailing items ahead of time to be placed into each room and Shanda figured out it would be going to Sarah...I then was looking into my paperwork and saw her name somewhere on the paperwork and was like ohhh ok now it is all fitting together...so many names!

I looked while at work and the name is by the civil ceremony section!

I apologize if I've upset anyone, I was just sharing my experience. My goal was not to say it would be that way for all couples and not to upset future brides.

I thought the point of the thread was to share information, ideas and experiences. I'm sorry my experience wasn't all positive.

Don't worry...I don't think anyone is upset at all. I also think it is good to share experiences good or bad. On every one of the boards all of the people who talk about planners some had good experiences and some had bad. Everyone that said they had "hiccups" has also said they have had beautiful weddings.

I agree with Lisa...the point of these boards are to express your experience, whether it is good or bad. What you might think is bad, another might not. You have not made me upset. I want to hear the experience....good or bad!

It was H-O-T that day. About 147 degrees. Or so it felt in the polyester suit. Cant imagine what she felt in the dress!

My wedding papers Shanda sent me at the begining of teh year say you get to keep the cake server set, but if you look online at the website, it's not listed anymore. I don't which one to believe! lol!

For some reason the cake and the cake topper lost there way around the ship though.LMAO! They may have fallen in the ocean!

We got the cake server and flowers petals and swan too (and our fixed letter as the date was wrong). Tom kept catching us in the room, so I just let him in to decorate. It looked nice.

For the cake topper, I asked for a box at dinner. They acted like no one had asked for a box before? Tom brought us the topper in the box when he decorated the room.
