OK.. I just got the proofs back from my photographer. We didn't go with the Disney photographer. We had wanted these guys before we even had a Disney wedding planned but couldn't afford them. We ran into them at a bridal show and were able to work out a deal with them to shoot the wedding! We were so excited and now I see why she wanted them!

I can wholeheartedly recommend Lifelong Studios, out of Tampa! We had Jorge as our main photographer and he was amazing! He stayed with us the entire day and called us numerous time with some ideas or places to shoot! He made good use of the Wave Phones!! He even joined us on Pirate night and shot some of that!

We have a 10x24 print of our group shot hanging in our hall way! I love looking at it and seeing all those who loved us the most and shared in our special day!

Lori ( haha..I saw the kids and thought your were A) ..I ordered flowers from The Perfect Gift and had them sent to the ship in Port Canaveral. They kept them in the cooler for me. I don't know what your VR date is but key west is only the day after you leave port, right?
Perfect gift was WAAAAYYYY cheaper than DCL for our extra table flowers

HAHAHa.... My Babies! I haven't been on here because I was babysitting for a couple days.

Our Vow Renewal is set for Monday (a sea day) so I thought if I picked them up on Sunday they would be in good shape. Just don't know if I can bring them on board.

I'll be going on my first Disney Cruise next June 24, 2012 on the Dream and my husband and I were thinking about doing a VR. Could anyone shed some light on this? Best place to have it, etc. Also, any good person to recommend to call for planning? I'd greatly appreciate! Thanks!

I would first contact Disney Weddings to see if a date is open during your cruise. You do not get much choice on when or where, except for Cadtaway Cay or on the ship. On board ceremonies are held in two locations (one inside and another outside) and cost $2500. The Castaway Cay weddings are $3500 and happen in the AM on that day.

Welcome to the boards and good luck with your planning...did you already book the cruise? If so I would RUN and call to make sure it is still available for the vow renewal, maybe use a travel agent who is familiar with Disney to help with that...I have someone if you would like to use her and she is free for her services (and a former Dis bride!) She was and still is so helpful with my wedding!

Congrats!! You may also want to consider doing your VR off ship if your cruise is booked or the options are too pricey. We are doing our VR in the Bahamas on our May 2012 cruise. I was able to get a pastor and a photographer for $500 total. The location is gorgeous, and then we will have dinner at Palo

Anyway our photographer Lee took some amazing photos but we've just arrived home to find that all the photos on the CD are of a different wedding, does anyone know how long they keep the photos for after the ceremony? I've emailed Shanda but with it being a Sunday don't think I'll get a response for a while.

First off Congrats!! I am so sorry to hear they gave you the wrong CD. Wonder how that happened?? Maybe you can contact Shutters directly? I will see if I can find the number and post it for you.

Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that. I'm sure they can fix that for you. We had Lee as well for our wedding on 9/12. She forgot our Cd on the last night, but we were doing a b2b and picked it up on the second leg of our cruise. The pictures were amazing!
