Disney Channel Games 2008???

So - all of you vets - is there any chance that someone somewhere within the Disney machine will be respond to any of these questions? I know that I have three kids with me and am not particularly interested in participating in a fandimonium

Advice?.... Thoughts?.... Who at theDis is in the know on who we could call for some definitive answers?

Nine 71, I can't believe you are flying from PA to pick your tickets up. A friend of mine received tickets and sent an email requesting a later pickup date and received an email back saying that she can pick them up the day she arrives in Orlando on May 1st.

Since we live only an hour away from WDW, we're only planning on going over for the concert. I have (6) six tickets for the field (3-adults, 3-girls (7,8,8)). I think the gates open at 5:00 and the ocncert is scheduled to begin around 7:00.

When should I head over? What time can I expect people to be lined up to get in for the field?

I know you'll only be able to guess, but I wasn't planning on this turning into an all day AND all night event. lol I would do that gladly, but the others coming with us aren't used to this sort of thing...I'm the cool Mom.

I think we got there around 4:30 last year. Friday+Rush Hour+I4 we were expecting the worse and it was drizzling! (no umbrellas are allowed)
We had assigned stadium seating, no waiting other than going through security check, we went straight in found our seats and went back up to the covered area. We were on an end of a row, with a family of 4 beside us that didn't stay in their seats. Thankfully they left around 10 or so, even the family behind us commented that we must've been glad they left.
When I picked up my tickets last year, I had the choice of field or stadium and chose stadium thinking the field would be packed. Of course it wasn't and now that we have the field this year- it sure sounds like it will be packed.
The field seem to have more opp for autgraphs, but dh did manage to get a few from the stadium. Our kids were happy.

Don't worry we'll all get the information just fine.

And there isn't much around the champion stadium to do, just a cafe and gift shop.

But you're free to go in and out as you please, you don't have to stay there

I do have a legit question. That place, WWOS, is huge. Are all the events in the baseball stadium or are they spread out? You may of answered this already but I am quite overwhelmed. Like the commercial says...I'm to excited to sleep!
