What’s for Dinner Tonight?

I made a semi Homemade pizza (Pillsbury crust in a can) with regular spaghetti sauce that I had leftover from when I made ravioli end of last week. I put ham and cheese on it. It was good even though it ended up a little overdone.

Hubby was lucky I even went to that much effort given the fact that I was feeling crappy all day because I had a Covid booster yesterday afternoon at work and I am also coming off my usual 3 day weekend of work (3 16 hour shifts 3-11, 11-7) on top of that. Last night's night shift was fun, LOL

Cheese ravioli (It's fancier then that, but I can't remember the cheese involved atm lol. It's from a local restaurant who sells it frozen at the Farmer's Market.) with tomato sauce, garlic bread, and broccoli. Hopefully. Work has been super busy (busiest time of year for us) and I have PT this afternoon. But I also can't afford to order in.

We spent Monday & Tuesday driving 22+ hours, so I'm still in recovery mode. I will get the cruise pictures posted, when DH has time to help. (I'm a technological dinosaur.) He's been driving & trying to catch up at work, so there's been no free time for him.

Anyway, Monday night we had Chick-fil-A on the way to the hotel. Last night, we had wings, fries & veggies w/ hummus from the hotel restaurant. After driving all day, we were too tired to go out. Tonight is to be determined.

Been keeping self busy with last minute doings since I leave tomorrow. Time sure flies when you’re having fun. So Monday, was spent house cleaning or at least supervising it. For dinner I made a bacon and Camembert omelette which allowed me to use up the remaining dairy. Found a ratatouille type dish at a local store and that was my veggie.

Tuesday, began a day trip. Well it was really an overnights visit to London and Paris. So Tuesday’s meal was at a London eatery with a fellow David Bowie enthusiast (3rd visit to his exhibition hall, lol). We shared a lobster pie with greens on the side and a bottle of white wine. No way we could fit in dessert although I did eat order a cheese and fruit plate at the hotel later on. Had a tingly ginger beer with it.

Wednesday afternoon found me back in Paris so I ate dinner with DGD and one of her cousins before catching an evening train back here. I felt like reliving my misspent youth so it was coffee (for warmth), a ham and butter baguette and crepes for dessert.
