Disney Channel Games 2008???

Well,I am sorry,I just can't give you anymore hints. On a side note,I think going to the Disney Channel Games and Walt Disney World during the same vacation is going to be the "BEST OF BOTH WORLDS"!

They wouldn't let us park at the resort - when I called the 407-WDISNEY number, they said no problem - you can park and then look around. But, when we got there, apparently there was a wedding or special event and they wouldn't let us park. So, we went over the transportation and ticket center and rode the monorail over.

My dad was a notorious penny pincher and he twigged on to the fact he could park for free at Downtown Disney and ride the buses to the parks. So, we did that many a time back in the 90's.

I really want to camp at Fort Wilderness that weekend but no sites are available.

I have read reports of being asked to show a Key to the World card before boarding a WDW bus,but during the 11 trips and 88 days I have spent staying in WDW Resorts since I started going in 2003,I have NEVER been asked to produce my KttW card when boarding any WDW bus.

Are you all sure that field seats are just based on who gets there first? Because I was thinking that maybe field seats were separated into groups. That would be a lot better in my opnion.

There are no seats in the field, its just standing room.

Even if there were seats, they wouldn't last long! Haha

Did they announce the teams before the games last year? I remember I didn't find out the teams until I got there, but if possible I would like to know ahead of time so I can make outfits! lol.

I have been to Disney World more times than I can count. I've lived in Florida since 1977 and have had seasonal passes for probably half that time...and there is so much on these boards that I had NO idea about. Wow.

Can someone tell me how the fan day is organized. Do the stars sit at tables and you line up? Are they spread all through the park or in just one space? Is it just the stars form Dis channel or do you think the people from the concert will be there? Any insight would be appreciated.

If anyone needs their tickets picked up I can do it. We do not arrive at Disney until May 1 so since the ticket pickup deadline is 4/30 I have booked a flight to go down there on the 28th pick up my tix and fly back home. I know this may sound crazy but I have 3 kids that would be devasted if we got tickets and had to give them up. So if anyone has the same issue i will pick up your tickets.

Thanks for the compliment. Does anyone know how to get from the airport to Disney? The cheapest and easiest way. Since I have already spent an extra $200 to fly down early and pick up tickets I need to save money any way I can!

If you stay on disney property they offer free bus from the airport to your hotel. I think it is called magical express. Check with 1-407-wdisney or 1-407-939-6244 guest relations. They can give you more information but you have to make a reservation on the bus to get this transport for free.

Ok,i dont understand what's going on. I emailed them the day they went available, for tix, and never heard back. Obviously lots here have heard, so i am assuming i didn't get tix, but a rejection email would be better than no email..

I have to go to WWOS to pick up my 5k race packet on friday May 2nd, is there any chance i will be able to see anything going on?? I don't understand about how you can get in to see the actual games ??

Where we are at so far is that although they are not recruiting people to be audience members, it is still open to the public but not fan friendly. Got it. Me neither. You can go but there has not been a scheduale put out yet and there is a chance you may see something or a chance you may see nothing. I for one will be one of the "peekers". I will take the chance of maybe seeing. Really we will not know until a scheduale comes out and we are actually there...lol . I hoped this cleared it up because now I am even more confused.
