Saw a good deal at BJs tonight, $100 GC for 95.69(I think, dont remember exact change). Anyway, here is my thinking, if I purchase a few of these with Disney Visa for next trip to WDW, I get the rewards for every $100 spent, plus $4 and some change for the difference in savings. My plan would be to pay off visa as soon as bill comes in, no interest this way.
So here is my question, if we go to say Ohana, its going to cost over $100 to eat there for us, if I had them the gift card and then pay the remaining balnce, with another gift card, cash, or what ever way i decide at that moment, will this work? Or on a minor scale, lets say on one of these gift cards, I have 1.25 left on one, can I use this to pay for a 2.50 bottle of water understanding I pay the remaining balance with cash, etc.?
Reason I ask, we had debit visa type cards, from Michelin and from Verizon, and if the total was over what was on the card, we couldnt use it on a trip to WDW last week. Dont want to get stuck in this same position where I leave a lot on the table
