Disney ain't got nothing on Vegas!

Been off the boards for just a little bit because I have been researching Las Vegas. We just got back from a week there, which was 3/4th company funded. Very first time there. I will elaborate more lately, but let me tell you, Disney has got nothing on Vegas in regards to pricing!!

I had only like two months to research and plan, but Disney can be a bargain compared to Vegas. Looking forward to comparing pricing aspects and such here soon with ya'll.

As expensive as Disney can be I’ve found any other trip I’ve taken has been just as expensive. I’d love to read a Vegas Trip Report

Not to mention the fact that Las Vegas is a rated R city… if you think your whole fam can enjoy the city, think again! Most attractions are either a form of gambling or blatantly adult material that you wouldn’t even dare enjoy together. Las Vegas is clearly meant for adults. Now if you have family who lives down there, that’s an exception.

Not to mention the fact that Las Vegas is a rated R city… if you think your whole fam can enjoy the city, think again! Most attractions are either a form of gambling or blatantly adult material that you wouldn’t even dare enjoy together. Las Vegas is clearly meant for adults. Now if you have family who lives down there, that’s an exception.

We gambled $40. Me, hubby and adult daughter had the time of our lives last week! We weren't expecting to have loved it soooo much! All family friendly activities. But the pricing was insane!! Thankfully, we did have help, as it was a company sponsored trip with my husband.

And consider yourself lucky to have that !
Not everybody has one of those….I am jealous !
But experiencing the Wizard of Oz at the Sphere was worth every penny !

I agree Las Vegas was more expensive than a trip to Disney .
Don’t know why I thought it would be cheaper.

If anybody wants to research a trip I recommend staying at the Venetian to book their package including tickets and easy walk to the Sphere
My souvenir was a Las Vegas Starbucks mug!

I actually didn't catch the apple, but I found it below a seat on the way out. When they released the apples it appeared to me that far fewer apples were let go verses what I seen in You Tube videos during the weeks prior. I could be wrong, but I do know for a fact that they added several more shows due to demand, during the end of my stay and into early October. Thus, possibly cutting back on the amount of the foam souvernir to cover the added shows? Just a thought.

Charging $10 to blow up a pool float at MGM Grand is just evil. We brought our own floats with a small electric pump that did the trick!!

And want to check in at your hotel (NYNY) and speak with a real person about doing so or about your room, ect- cha-ching!! Unreal!

We were surprised with early check IN extra fee !
But I would gladly pay that at Disney if it guaranteed an available room for early check in .
