DISmoms Round TWO! Don't Axe, Don't Tell!! 4/30-5/4/10 updates 9/17

I think I might have missed an update but I can't open one of the pages without my safari totally shutting now. So Joan - I think there's something in the trip report and that's why you are getting fatal errors. I think there is a virus embedded in something. I didn't have any problems with this TR until my little genius nephew LJ decided he had to add virus protection to my mac. That LJ.

Anyway - yes Ellen - soccer moms bailed on the weekend of May 14th so now I am going two weeks earlier with some cool DISers. We tried to work it out for the weekend of the 14th so we could have COOL Other DISers meet the DISmoms, but it didn't work out. So I am a little bummed that I will not be there with the DIS moms, but at least I am going.

Well, MEK, I am VERY bummed you won't be there when we go, but I am SO glad you are still going!! Who are you going with? ANd how was the trip you just got back from today?? I LOVED the pix, thanks for getting me psyched for my trip next Friday! Hmmm....looks like vacationing within days of each other is becoming a pattern....

Sorry I haven't been on here much- turns out September is a VERY busy month for a middle school PTA President...especially one who doesn't know what's going on yet!! But now that I've survived my first PTA meeting (and Joan has survived her first Band Boosters Meeting as the Co- President), I think I can post a little more (before I have to start a new TR after next Friday!!). As long as the computer I'm on can handle it...my laptop hard drive is UNDETECTABLE on my 3 month old $1800 DELL piece o' CRAPOLA. Did I mention that the computer guy (who we are friends with from Church) who has it now and is trying to retreive stuff off of it said this happens ALL THE TIME WITH NEW DELLS??????? Something to think about the next time you're shopping for a computer.....

So where were we....ahhh, yes. Hot, sweaty....sounds like Mexico to me!! Time for a last lunch before that AWFUL DME.....

Ok...about now, you might be saying, "What's WRONG with these women??? Can't they eat anything else???" I mean, I think in this TR, I have posted different photos of the same stuff three, maybe four times! What the HECK?? I'm bored even looking at it! But, I have to say...it STILL wasn't enough! It STILL tasted like the BEST thing EVAAAAAARRRRRR each and every time! And when the plane lands next Friday morning in Orlando, after we hop off the DME and check into our Concierge studio at AKV, I will be RUNNING to the EPCOT bus and RUNNING through EPCOT....just to have the exact same stuff again. It is THAT GOOD. No- it is THAT GREAT!

And it has already slowed down a bit- the big thing was getting all those forms and running the meeting- and making a speech that was lost on my dead computer. For some reason it never occured to me that 850 students worth of PTA forms would come home with me- in triplicate!

We had been texting back and forth with Pam all day- she was also in Epcot, but had gone over to Soarin and some other attractions. But as luck would have it, she was on her way to grab some nachos in Mexico. We said Come on in the Ditch with us! Nachos and all-so, she did-

The Ditch is such a Happy Place....the happiest place on earth, for sure! While we savored every last drop & morsel of Ditch-aliciousness, we asked our favorite men to give us one last photo-

Now, THAT'S what I call a Magical Moment! Soon we realized it was time to go- we still had two more candy stops (Canada & UK) before the dreaded DME. So we said good-bye to our friend, Pam-

and made our way to both Canada & England where we were FINALLY able to purchase some chocolate candy (since we were on our way out). The best part?

We were FUZZY. That's what happens at the Ditch. You get FUZZY. And let me tell ya somethin'- it is a WHOLE LOT easier to leave WDW when you're FUZZY than when you are not. Kind of....softens the blow. aLOT. We briefly admired the gardens one last time-

OOPS! Not just FUZZY- we're tilted, too!

before stopping at that store( I can't remember the name of) and picking up our stuff at the back of EPCOT (even the Mickey glass globes- the nice man with all the stickers promised us he would have them brought there tout suite for us, and he sent some kid running with them!). Then it was back to BCV to retrieve our luggage from the valets.

I really like those valets.

They can be made to do all KINDS of things.

Especially when we're FUZZY and looking to squeeze in every last ounce of DISmom fun.

Since I WAS fuzzy, I can't recall EXACT details....but let's just say it involved a lack of hydration on a hot day, a hangover from the day before at the beach, and a nasty case of sunburn. I won't post a picture of any faces of these 20 year old cuties, to protect the not-so-innocent and all. But let's just say if you want to do a strip search, you're lookin' for THIS guy-

And he wanted to know if WE knew where WE were.......

Of course we know! We're in DISNEY!!! The HAPPIEST PLACE ON DISMOM EARTH!!!!!

Well, that's it- hope you enjoyed our little adventure! Can't wait to do it again!
