DISmoms Round TWO! Don't Axe, Don't Tell!! 4/30-5/4/10 updates 9/17

Joanie & I had a little time to kill before tea, so Ritas in hand we headed over to China to assist Kim Possible in her neverending quest to save the world.

All I can say is it's a good thing Kim Possible isn't relying on us alone. Because we stink.

I do believe that Miss Kim was a little jealous of all the fun we were already having without her...you know...with our girl Rita. So pretty much every clue was given to us repetitively, over and over, so we never got past the first one. The fact that it was 3 million degrees in China that day didn't help matters. So....we quit. And took a couple pics instead.

In the Chinese zodiac, i am the Tiger. It's very strange, but it does fit me better than all the other possibilites...

Sorry it can't be read- basically it says that I am honest, intuitive, friendly and hopeful. Ok- I'll take it!

We headed back to Norway to hand over our Kimmunicators, failures that we are, and then head on over to the monorail...it was almost time for Tea, and Kara was waiting for us impatiently at the monorail...which was pulling in, and THIS time we hustled over to it!!

Getting off of one of them, we saw these people who obviously hadn't checked their thermometers before getting dressed-

Ok, maybe the woman on the left was going to work somewhere. But the one on the right? In a long sleeved sweater?? That's just crazy!!!

Once at the GF, we took a little peak at Citrico's

And then went downstairs and found Pam, who had thoroughly enjoyed her relaxing morning in MK, people watching on Main Street-

Aaahhhh....time for tea!!

As far as our roamings around Epcot, my photos can't begin to compare with Ellen's, with the exception of this little guy.....

Color? This is what I did to it this weekend.

I was looking for a smidge darker with more gold. This had a green tint to it, but I really like it! Totally out of my comfort zone with this. I'm usually a beige gal in living areas, and then colorful in bedrooms.

You are getting gutsy, Miss Kara!!!

You will have a pillow top queen size bed, DirectTV, access to a private patio, and your own bathroom!!! Come on down!

Packing my bags as we speak!!!!! Love, love, love the color....I also have color in every room but the garage. It makes for a happy home!!!

Just puts us that much closer to next year!!!! And did you know I am giving up a week in Jamaica to be with my favorite DISmoms again????? The sacrifices I make for my gals!!!

Really? I didn't know that. You must really love us! I'm giving up the high school music trip that weekend....I'm co-president of the Music Boosters. But, then again, am I really giving up when I'm choosing a weekend full of laughs and good times vs. headaches and teenage angst? Hmmm....I think I'm coming out ahead on that one!

DISmoms it is, though they may fire ME as co-president, especially since my son will be in Disney this year instead of at the marching band finals.... (hmmm...)

Where are the MOMS!!!!!????

Well....I was in NYC with Pods for two nights- and last night I met Top Chef #1, Harold Dieterle at his restaurant, Perilla, in the West Village. So cool!

He invited me into the kitchen to say hi...what a sweetie! And what an UNBELIEVABLE restaurant- the pasta I had for an appetizer was one of the top 5 things I have EVER eaten in my life. O.M.G. hand cut fettuccini, yellow chives, bone marrow, toasted bread and orange manila clam sauce-

Have to run- headed to LBI tomorrow overnight at a friend's house. Yay!!

I agree that it is fun to read several perspectives of the same trip. This is such an entertaining report. The Mom's know how to have a good time!

And, yes Ellen, we will be going on the Members Cruise here very soon. Like 37 days away or so. Can't wait. We will be spending the night before the cruise down at Vero then after the cruise going back to BLT for 3 nights. Both places will be firsts for us. We have been down to Vero for drinks but never stayed there so we are looking forward to it. And this will be our 3rd Members Cruise.

I have to say...those people standing in the lobby waiting to be seated were in AWE....nobody knows about take out cheese soup & pretzel bread like a DISER!!
