So we went to get the Halloween decorations down today and DD was flipping out with excitement.

Then I found these 2 large grocery bags -- Wow!!! It was dress-up clothes that I had gotten on Freecycle about 1-2 years ago. I had stashed them away b/c they were way too big at the time. So we go through them today and voila!!

- Snow White Dress (Disney one) and wig
- Blue Princess Dress and Hoop skirt
- Tiger outfit
- Statue of Liberty outfit
- The Witch from Snow White Outfit
- Angel Outfit

Score!!

I asked DD which one she like the best ... it was Snow White all the way ... until she saw the Angel costume -- it had wings!!! And now she wants to be an angel. (I'm going to try to convince her to be Snow White since that outfit fit her better...the wings kept falling off her arms...)

Yeah for you!! But seriously, you should get paid at least your normal pay -- it is work!

As for tomorrow, I should be on at some point. We may go to IKEA tomorrow to return a bunch of stuff we had gotten to decorate the dining room. We still want it all but figure we can return now and purchase again in the future when we continute our remodeling.

Hey Sharky!!! We don't really celebrate halloween but being all the other kids are having fun that night we try some safe alternatives. So We usually go to a Hallalujah Harvest that a local church does on halloween night and then on the Weekend closest to halloween our church does a FallHarvest Party. Last year my mother in law passed away so we didn't do anything but the year before we actually went to 3 different Harvest parties!! Depending on where we are going sometimes they wear diff costumes. Some of the local churches they just ask you to wear fam. friendly costumes and nothing scary. some ask for Bible themed costumes and then 1 year we had a fall costume party. I dressed up as a leaf pile. i bought a bright Orange sweatsuit and made a skirt out of the pants. i found some golden orange material with leaves on it and sewed it into the inserts and then I used craft glue and put fall leaves (the decorative kind) all over the outfit and made a garland with the material and leaves for my hair. I won 1st place for the adults that year.
We won't be having anything this year I don't think at my church as we had so much damage from ike. Both boys are saying they want to be Army men although Braeton changes daily. Power Ranger, bible Boy, Super Ski Boy and Invisible strong Dude. those last 3 are of his own making so the costumes should be interesting!!

i think the Mr Potato Head costume would be adorable!!!!

oh...I must have not worded that right. My dad is the one that made me realize I hadn't figured that piece out yet. He just had surgery when I was on vacation, so I don't think he's supposed to be driving yet.
I could get Enterprise to pick me up (as their commercial always says "we'll pick you up")....it's either that or leave my car over there and have Mike get it after work.



jealous...heck, if it meant I could go to WDW for a week, I'd scrub 20 tubs!

I've got news. Cheri's in laws don't live too far from me after all. In fact it is a place where we go at least 1x amonth soooooooo we might get to meet after all. IF Braeton will get well and the rest of us don't get it. i really don't think it is a virus this time. I think it has a lot to do with all the siezures he's having and the meds he's on. Buttttt anywayy we will get through it. I've been so grumpy the last few days because of the lack of sleep and then Braeton comes and hugs me and tells me I win the best and prettiest Mom of the year award because I love him and take care of him and let him cook creations laughing: )!!! And then I felt so BAD because He was the one feeling bad and I was the one grumpy and he has been so sweet through all of this.
I'm keeping a really bad headache through this but it finally got through to me that if he can suffer continual Migraines and be sweet that I can attempt to at least be tolerable!!!
I'm not grumpy to anyone else but my poor boys have heard me scream SEVERAL times the last 2 days. i think I shocked the poop out of them!! Probably why B was trying to butter me up huh????

I had to go read night night stories and then ended up sitting on Tylers Bed while they (the boys) took turns telling the wildest stories about school they could come up with. they finally admitted that they were hoping I'd fall asleep with them!! Like 2 boys in a twin bed isn't enough!!!!
Anyway i'm off to bed. hope to see ya'll tomorrow.
And Cheri thanks for being so sweet about it all. I'm not going to get my hopes up too much because it seems like something ALWAYS happens when I do that!! But it would Be GREAT if we could meet even if it was a DBM. a Drive By Meet!!!
