Hey all!:flower1:
Hoping to go to Discovery Cove May 2017, (will be there 1st two weeks) this will be our first visit. Was just wondering how far in advance I should try to get tickets since we are interested in the dolphin swim as well. There will either be 5 or 7 of us in our party. Wasn't sure if it was an asap kind of thing or if I could wait a few more months. Thanks so much, as always, you guys are great!

Availability probably won't be an issue for that time of year, but prices can (and do) increase as admissions are sold. That said, they often run promotions around the New Year which may save you a little bit if you wait.

Another thing you may not be aware of is that SeaWorld offers an annual "Blue Friday" sale each Black Friday weekend, and for the past few years they have had annual passes on that sale as Buy One, Get One Free. AP rates for DC can be quite favourable (this year it was $99 for the day resort admission, $169 for the dolphin swim admission) assuming your visit doesn't fall on any of the black-out dates (which yours would not). You can buy up to six DC admissions with one annual pass. It might be worth running the numbers to see if that would work out best for you. I am confident that Seaworld will continue to offer the BOGO AP's as their profits have continued to struggle over the last couple of quarters.

Hi Gina!
Thanks so much for your response! Waiting for the blue Friday sale sounds like it would be worth it for sure. Right now for our dates it is listed at $289/pp for the dolphin swim and the 14 day pass for BG/ SW/Aquatica. If it were to go any higher I know I would not be able to pull it off. I think I may take my chance and wait for that blue Friday deal!:thanks:

Yes there are great savings with the seaworld annual pass, but it doesnt include admission to the other parks, so if you were going to do that, it might not be the best deal.
