Hey ladies and Tom...
We went to the drive in movies last night to see Indiana Jones, and Iron man, so we missed the action. Anyway, I am going to refrain from commenting on it at all, but rather CarlaC and a few other already voiced my opinion.
And on to the goodies!

I LOVE the scrapbook pages. Papercrafting is my other love. Steph the autograph book is PERFECT! And happy Bday to Megan

Zofia had a memorial day preK concert yesterday, and they requested that the kids wear red/white/blue, so I HAD to make something for her. Here she is in all her cuteness...

And my friend asked me to make matching skirts for her dd's. I don't want to look at this fabric again way more ruffles than I wanted to do. Although I did try the dental floss method, and it worked fabulously!

And a purse I felt the need to try that I gave to my sis

Oh How sweet of you to ask! Thankfully my Aunt is doing better than the bag (Not that that is a good comparison LOL). They are planning on moving my Aunt to the Step down unit TODAY!!!! (Instead of Tuesday like they originally thought).

The bag I started..........
For starters I was being lazy and did not print out the pattern, I thought I could trace it from the monitor......... I cut it out and realised the pieces were not going to fit together, so I cut it down, starting sewing and found the pieces STILL didn't fit together. Yeah ummm it's bad. If I EVER finish it, it will be a purse for JORD LOL!

But I did get some sewing done yesterday, just not on this bag. (NOTE: I do not blame the pattern or pattern maker etc. It is my own fault, so no one gets to be snarky )

Sorry the purse didn't turn out to well. Maybe next time will be better.

Glad we are back to our regularly scheduled. I had a ton of quotes but I lost them all in the mix.

I made this the other night for Isaiah and I never got around to posting.

I put it down on the floor to take a picture and could not get him to leave it alone lol.

DD had to finally hold it up so I could get a shot.

With all the talk about dresses I have a question has anyone made Ariels blue dress? If so what pattern did you use? I think I am going to go later this afternoon and check out patterns to see what I can find. I am not doing them now but to put up for later anyway lol.

I'm pretty sure Nana did Ariel's blue dress. It's in the Photobucket account if memory serves me correctly!

Hi ladies! I missed al the action last night too as we were seeing the new Indy movie. I just wanted to say that as a newbie sewer this board has been a great source of support and inspiration for me. I have CASED things here to make for my own DD, but never for profit. I CASED b/c I was new and needed help not b/c I wanted to steal someone's idea. I got the impression form being here that it was ok to case what was being posted b/c we are all here to help and support each other. Sorry if I have offended anyone. I realy do love coming here and sharing and getting help. We have all been so supportive of one another I would hate to see that lost. Long story short I will not be casing anything else unless I ask first, and ""Can't we all just get along?"

Teresa is much nicer than I am and she has spent hours looking through the pictures and removing them for people in the past. I'm not so nice , so I am asking anyone who wants their pictures removed to find them themselves and send me the links to each individual picture so I can remove them.

I just have to say I am having so much fun working on my BIG GIVE outfit! I got it halfway done last night. I forgot something at Joanns yesterday so I have to run back today. Hopefully I'll finish it tonight. And I also have to say, I haven't made one mistake yet! DH took DS8 on a special trip to visit his grandparents in Canada, and although DH fully believes that without him the house will erupt in chaos, things are going so nicely! It's almost like I'm on vacation! I have only 3 kids at home and they are all being lovely and helpful and getting along. We order pizza for dinner, we're doing lots of fun stuff this weekend. It is nice. Our two grumpy boys are not around. (but I do love and miss them).

I'm not sure if anyone has ever told you how much that you are appreciated for all the hard work you have done with The Bookmarks, and The Photobucket account. I know how time consuming it is to keep this information current. I don't think I have ever known anyone, let alone two sisters so willing to help people that they have only known through the Disboards Families thread. Your mom should be very proud of both of you, she has raised you both very well. Please don't stop doing what you do!!!

I just talked to my sister (who drove STRAIGHT thru from TX to Michigan, but did make it safely). They are planning to move my Aunt to the "step down" unit TOMORROW instead of Tuesday like they originally planned

LOVE your DD's outfit!!! I can't imagine doing 3 of those skirts. Does your friend know how lucky she is? My DD's girlscout leader thought it would be cool for all 17 girls to have a twirl skirt. I'm actually surprised I really made the 1.

CUTE! My youngest DD would love that! She loves anything with big teeth and Bruce is one of her favorites. Is this from a kit or did your purchase it off a bolt? I saw some kits on sale at JoAnns but didn't see Bruce.

Wow - I go to bed and look what happens!!! I feel a bit scared posting on here now but here goes. I do agree with comments made by what I think is the majority, that copying outfits to sell and claiming them as your own is totally wrong. However, by posting on here I've accepted that I am sharing with you (although I know my stuff is so not worth copying!!) as like minded people who enjoy making things for pleasure and for the benefit of our own friends and family.

I am just starting my tops for Isabelle and planned on using the crown image that I think it was jham posted (so so sorry if it wasn't you but I can't find the original post now as I printed the picture off there and then) but I'm not sure I will now.

I have also accepted that my photos are in the public domain, after all I guess how thats a few of us ended up here! I certainly arrived here via a search on google (not the pictures though) despite having been on the Disboards for some time.

I do hope normal service is resumed soon. I also feel really sorry for Beth; she has taken the time and energy to do something special for someone who has suffered in a way no one should and that nice friendly atmosphere seems long gone.

well since the beg of the thread I had asked that my pics not be posted into that account. They understood my safety issue about it and it was stated to me it would not be saved in there. so to my dismay when I saw it yesterday after someone sent me a nasty nasty pm........ they were in there.
I did not know the original owner of that photobucket account - which was not the sisters - did not tell them of my intention or wants. we are all allowed to keep our childrens pics private. which I thought was between you ladies, not on a PUBLIC photobucket account.
don't quote the first page to me if you do not know the back story.

I'm really not trying to be difficult. Really. But for the sake of just trying to understand, could you explain how having the pics in a photobucket account is any more of a risk than posting pics of your kids in your ebay auctions? It appears that there are pics of your kids in your current auctions that I would guess were from your recent trip. I know that I'm probably very naive when it comes to these issues, and that may not be to my advantage. I'm just trying to understand.
