Okay, "Right-Click" disablement is NOT the cure-all people seem to think it is. If someone wants a picture from a public forum i.e. ebay, here or anywhere all right-click disablement does is slow them down a tad....that is it. A person who want a picture to use for whatever has to do is go after the codes....not hard to do at all...I have not done it but I know it can be done easily. Once I found out it only slows them down I purchased a manniquin to use when I go "Live" on ebay or etsy tha tway I am not endangering my DGKs. I can't remember if the original thread had the "warning" about "we share everything" or not but #2, #3, #4 and #5 have all had it. The same goes for the "warning" about the photobucket account. If a person does not wish to share their ideas or whatever all they need to do is NOT mention it or NOT post Pictures. I personally have several outfits that are OOAK that only my DGKs have because I have not listed them on :wizard: as yet. Even those designs that I plan on listing will be limited editions. A mass production for me is only 12-15 outfits and the first 5 are for my grand-daughters...:rotfl: :rotfl2: Nana

I posted the crown image SO PEOPLE COULD USE IT! So please go ahead and use it! I don't mind being CASEd either. :thumbsup2

Thanks Jham (I'm a paranoid wotsit deep down!!!!!) :goodvibes

I spent the morning sewing, while the kids were outside playing.
This is Alexis' Nassau dress. I found this bahama fabric and bought it, even though it wasn't a great color...but this is what I did with it. Alexis picked out the fabric she wanted out of the sewing cabinet. I'm not thrilled with it, but it's good enough for bumming around Nassau.

This makes me feel so summery and in a holiday mood! :dance3:

OK, so here is the set that I mentioned last night. I absolutely loved the style of this top from gymboree, so I bought it and made a pattern from it. I had seen commercial patterns like it, but only in infant to 24 month size. I thought it would be easy. Boy was I wrong! Anyway, here's the gymbo top:

Isn't it so cute?

And here's mine - this was just an experiment - I used fabric that I had left over from a dress I made last year. I didn't want to use fabric that I loved just in case I messed it up.

I think it turned out ok. It was hard trying to figute out how to sew it together, though, because of the criss cross straps and the fact that I wanted it to be reversible like the gymbo one.

Ok, and here's one more I almost forgot to post - I finally bought the round neck pattern from ycmt. I've had this fabric for a while now, finally got to use it!
roundnecktop1.jpg

Whew! that was a lot of pics. Hope everyone's having a great Saturday and will enjoy the long weekend!

Wow - well done!! That top is stunning and I can't believe you've made it up as you went along. Every time I see that YCMT top, I get a step closer to buying it. I'm selling a load of my maternity clothes on :wizard: so fingers crossed they sell so I can justify buying it! What size does it start from?

Cindee, How is your aunt doing today?

Were you able to finish your She loves me Knot bag you started on Thursday Night?

I saw your question on Friday so I wasn't able to help. I was making a She Loves me Knot bag on Thursday Night too.

Here it is. I made if for DD's Teacher as a Teacher Appreciation Gift. She loves jungle animals and jungle print.

I really want to make another one, I think it was pretty easy to follow the pattern.
DO you have a picture of yours?

This is soooo cute! I have got to try one of these sometime!

Teresa- The org photobucket account holder and I had an agreement. She was not to put any of my children's pictures in the account. I was even given the password so that in case they were by accident the picture could be corrected. Now I see that at some point the account changed hands and the password in different. I DO NOT WANT MY CHILDREN IN THAT PUBLIC ACCOUNT!!! I hope that you honor my request. You know me and I hope you understand that I was never informed that the "rules" were changed.

Also . . . I AM AN EXAMPLE OF A PERSON BEING CASED FOR PROFIT!!!!! That is what the orginal discussion was about. There is no reason on a discussion board that topics can not be discussed in a responsible manner. I do have a right to be upset. My views have grown and changed in the last year and I was interested in seeing what others had to say. It was a harmless discussion.

Really the bottom line is . . . if I saw a Taylor*tots*designs or a designed*by*dena custom and made and then sold it that would be wrong. That is exactly what happened to me. Someone took my autograph book and flat out sold it. They did not even change the pdf! I know because Peter Pan was missing!!!!

I think it is important to talk about all aspects of the boutique world. Sometimes those discussions are just not as comfortable for others.

I had the same "agreement" with the other person who handled the photobucket. When the photobucket was handled over it appears it was not mentioned. I doubt anyone here would purposefully do something against someone else wishes. Per HeatherSues email, if you don't want your pictures in the photobucket email her and she will delete them. Problem solved.

Hey ladies and Tom...
We went to the drive in movies last night to see Indiana Jones, and Iron man, so we missed the action. Anyway, I am going to refrain from commenting on it at all, but rather CarlaC and a few other already voiced my opinion.
And on to the goodies!

I LOVE the scrapbook pages. Papercrafting is my other love. Steph the autograph book is PERFECT! And happy Bday to Megan

Zofia had a memorial day preK concert yesterday, and they requested that the kids wear red/white/blue, so I HAD to make something for her. Here she is in all her cuteness...
On the way to school with Ben in the background.

I also made this diaper soaker for my sis
clothingcreations043.jpg

And my friend asked me to make matching skirts for her dd's. I don't want to look at this fabric again:confused3 way more ruffles than I wanted to do. Although I did try the dental floss method, and it worked fabulously!

Elisa! I love your appliques! They are perfect!

These are all GREAT!!! I love those pants! I have been meaning to make Parker some capri's with two different fabrics like that but just haven't yet!

Glad we are back to our regularly scheduled. :) I had a ton of quotes but I lost them all in the mix. :(

I LOVE the Ariel outfit it is precious!

I made this the other night for Isaiah and I never got around to posting.
may032.jpg

I put it down on the floor to take a picture and could not get him to leave it alone lol.
may031.jpg

DD had to finally hold it up so I could get a shot. :)

With all the talk about dresses I have a question has anyone made Ariels blue dress? If so what pattern did you use? I think I am going to go later this afternoon and check out patterns to see what I can find. I am not doing them now but to put up for later anyway lol.

Too cute!! I love the phrase "fish are friends not food"!

I have been reading but haven't said anything but I am wondering how is having your pictures in the photobucket account different from posting your kids' picture here on this disboutiquer thread, or in your trip report? It is also public domain.

Also, Lori..I know you said that your ebay pictures are right click disabled...yes, they definitely are not right clickable, but there are ways to getting the image without having to right click... if you put your images out on the internet whether or not it is in the public photobucket account, there ARE ways to get them, right clickable or not. Just to prove my point, these pictures are taken right off your none right clickable auction...

ok I will be nice about this. but I asked A LONG TIME AGO TO HAVE THEM OUT!! why is that so hard to take. you do not have to be rude. I have been on this thread a long time. I have never said anything rude. I did not say my designs were stolen. that is not my fight.!!!! Understand that I want them taken out. How do you not know it is not a safety issue I have and need them out. did you manage the original account. I askedthe original person to not add them to that.
people can be malitious(sp) and there is a way to un-right click them. but most people do not. if they do they put them in a PERSONAL SPACE!!! NOT A PUBLIC ONE.
did I ask something horrible. this has nothing to do with designs. non of you have cased for profit. so I don't care about that. it is a personall thing with safety I have!!

Super cute!! I bought the pattern for that when Parker was younger but never made anything out of it. She had an outfit with that type of top but sometimes it was such a hassle to work our way into it. I might try it for a little cousin though!

Here are some more shameless pictures...it's fun looking through all of the old ones...I really don't need to start scrap booking....groan (knowing that tomorrow I'm running to Michaels..LOL)

That was my really sad attempt with the white background.

IMG_0245.jpg

Don't ask what I was thinking here...:sad2: too many pageant outfits made, I guess...and what's with the hat...LOL

I remember the 2nd one but the other two are great as well! I love the colors on both of them!

Great job! I did a criss/cross from a pattern and you attached at the shoulders. McCalls has a pattern that goes up to size 14 (9369) but I like the extra sun coverage that your shirt has.

You did a great job on the round neck. I like that design but I'm afraid of the armholes. Are those done with bias binding? That stuff is scary!:scared1:

well I had a personal back and forth with the original person !
WHY DO I HAVE TO DEFEND THE ORIGNAL PROMISS!!!
I was told when the account got created if anyone was not comfortable putting there kids pics in there that they would not do that to a public account. I stated I was not comfortable a long wit ha lot of moms!!
That request was honored.
I assumed when the new owners took over that they understood the original promisses to everyone that was extablished on the original thread!!! why is this something that you are all upset at me about. what did I possibly do to all of you to attack me.
I did not ask you to do anything that is outrageous and yet you all feel the need to keep attacking me.
I share a lot with you all, I come here for friendship and sharing and yet you all want to attack and be rude. I have shared a lot of tecniches, free stuff and ideas. nice to know that when I ask a simple request you all come down on me.
think about if you were concerned about safety with your kids -do we have to know why - do I have to question your motives.
you are a mom that is asking nicely several times and now I have to defend.
Lori

On a lighter note, I just ordered this delightful Robert Kaufman ducky fabric

Posting these pictures crossed the line. I asked a question and was looking for honest respectful answers. Just because you do not agree with someone does not need that little girls need to brought into this.

I purposly took out the kids pictures!

and not to get even more "crazy" here as someone called me in a PM! YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF!!!

it is against photobucket rules to copy and keep photos on there site without permission of the original owner. I personally do not have a inspiration folder in photobucket for that reason.
You all have made me sad and ashammed to be apart of a group that wants to attack me and my decisions as a mother.
Lori

Good afternoon boardies.

I knew it was going to get heated up in here....just knew it.

Anyhoo, Happy birthday Megan.

Love the reversabel cross back fishy top :thumbsup2

I will continue to post here and draw inspiration from those clothes around me and case any that I feel my daughters will like. I will never try to sell someones creations (as mine or a case). This will be the last I speak of this,a nd intend to get back to the same lovey dovey help me help you board that I have been reading since it began.
