Ugh well finally saw a weight change.......

+ 1.5

:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

It was probably the burger king from last night. So im about to leave as soon as I finish my fruit and take my dog for a walk. Its nice outside so perfect walking weather. I think nothing but fruit and protein today. I will probably have an egg sandwich for lunch. Which is more healthier for you? A hardboiled egg sandwich or a fried egg with melted cheese sandwich? Tonight we are having a BBQ and inviting some friends over, so that will be my only fattening thing today.

-10!
3 of which happened later last Friday...-6 was my official morning wt. But since I'm addicted to the scale, -3 more more that same day I added to the -7 throughout this week.
Awesome!!! I remember that you wanted your Cinco de Mayo goal changed, but I don't remember what you wanted it changed to, and I'm too lazy to go back and look. Was it 16, 18, 20? Something around there?

Anyway, I think I'm redefining the term "slow and steady wins the race". I lost 0.8 pounds this week, which is a loss though very small. This brings my total weight loss to 49.2 pounds (so close to 50!) since January 2007; and an uber grand total of 73.2 pounds lost since early 2005. I am now at my lowest adult weight of 166.8, 1.9 pounds from my Cinco de Mayo goal, and 11.8 pounds from my ultimate goal weight of 155 (which will probably change once I get there).

Have a wonderful day everyone!

. And it definitely, definitely has an effect on your life.

I am having a bad day.

I am a samer.

I'm sorry your having a bad day. :grouphug:

My eating has not been the best this week. I'm still exercising....because I know that when the weight does come off, the muscles will be ready to show themselves. ( I sincerely hope)

I'm trying to keep a positive attitude....but sometimes that's hard when your surrounded by grouchb*tts.

That's why it's good to have peeps.

UTAHMAMA: :worship: Good Job.

UM, you kick butt. Like really. And I understand the other thing, I am so there lately. And it definitely, definitely has an effect on your life.

I am having a bad day.

I am a samer.

We're here for you, Kat!!!!! :grouphug:

Wendy way to go!
I posted way back that giving up pop/soda/coke can do wonders for a diet. The carbonation holds on to fat cells and makes it really hard to get rid of. You are proof positive of that!

You should only drink or limit yourself to 1 or 2 carbonated beveraves per day if you are dieting.

I only drink 1 or 2 a week.

Great job, and I can feel your smile way ofar here!:goodvibes

Everybody is doing so awesome. Just being here means you are trying to make positive changes in your health.

GROUP HUG!!!!

Thanks! know your right! Absolutely, positively! I dink one can of Diet Pepsi Max in the Morning to get me going. But usually don't finish the can. NEVER dreamt I 'd say that!

So that's helping the physical part. Good marriage is helping the mental part.
Because nothing is really that different.

Ooooh, I wasted soooo many years telling myself soda was fine! :sad2:

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: Wendy!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALLIE!

KAT~ you can afford a samer. You look so great!

We went to the orthopedist this morning. There is a major tear in the meniscus so DD is having surgery on Wednesday. She can go back to school the following Monday. Lots of physical therapy in her future! Hopefully she will be back to normal by mid-summer (that sounds so far away). Dr. says that if she is really good and does all of her follow up care diligently, he might be able to let her take her brace off for 1 night on June 6th for her 8th grade formal! That is great incentive for her. This doctor has a wonderful reputation and is just wonderful and encouraging to DD (and me). He explained to her that after physical therapy it's quite possible that she will be an even better athlete, because her knee will be so strong.

I'm slipping in at work (there are donuts in the staff room, so I'm hiding out in our office). Down 2.2 That's a big loss for me. It's the silver lining in a bad week.

I'll be thinking good thoughts for her.

I lost 1 pound
Kind of frustrating since I exercised every day and stayed at my 1200 calories.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALLIE!

Hope it's wonderful and filled with happy moments and awesome surprises!

HAppy Birthday

Amazing! And :thumbsup2 on the improved relationship. I have to recommend a book, The Five Love Languages, for everyone married or in a committed relationship. Even better if you can get your SO to read it, too, but it works even if only one uses it. It's really about giving (and getting) the right kind of attention.

THis is an awesome book. It saved my marriage about 5 years ago.

KAT--you look awesome!!

Well this morning I cried when i had to cancel my trip for next month. With us not knowing about DH job and such it just would not be a smart thing to do. I went to the neurologist on Monday and I will start Topomax (sp) as soon as I wean Rebekah. He has given me about 2.5 weeks to do this. I am saddened, but at least I got it this long.

Thanks! I was terrible last Fri/Sat so I was pretty happy to get away with not gaining.

Sorry to hear about your DD. Hopefully she will still get in some good summer vacation time.

I put my bracelet back on cause I now feel worthy.

What peep bracelet do you have? I want one too.

:worship: Aunt Flo is the devil. My wedding rings I was able to get off no problem on Tuesday morning (my band was a little tight). Today nodda, nuttin. I am a swollen mess and have already drank half of my water for the day.

Samer

I have been on the "near divorce" diet before. Maybe I should fight with DH- I dropped 30 pounds last time- just kidding.

Does anybody feel like on weigh in day they "start over"? I think I have "started" a million times.

 for those in need. In times like these when the world is going crazy, we need each other.

Looks like great numbers this week. Unfortunately, I can't WI, as I am in Myrtle Beach at a hotel and there is no scale! :confused3 Oh well...I'll WI next week.

My eating hasn't been great since being away, but I have walked the beach for 40-60 min! What awesome exercise!!! I am recommitted to get this weight off. I have 2 more pounds to lose by Cinco de Mayo and I will do it!!! All of us will!!!

Give your daughter a  from me. Here is some :wizard: for a quick recovery.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Your situation is part of the reason that we are making our next trip a surprise. We've decided that we would tell our kids a week or 2 before we leave just in case we would have to cancel. My husband was laid off (ultimately the business went out of business) in Sept. 07. We had already paid for the Dec. trip and had to decide whether we should cancel or go. We end up going anyway because our kids had been counting down the moment for 1 1/2 years and there was absolutely no way that I would be responsible for crushing their little hearts. Did your kids know about the trip or was it going to be a surprise? I'm hoping for the latter.

Sorry about the trip and the need to wean. Those are both such emotional things.
