Morning my peep-a-licious gang!

I am so happy to report a 3.8 pound loss for the week.

I put my bracelet back on cause I now feel worthy.



Did anyone feel the earthquake? Hope everyone in that area is ok.

There was talk of just sending pages for our recipe book to people who wanted them. I don't know what was decided.
 
I know I said I wasn't going to post anymore, but I did want to post that I am -1. I find that since I haven't posted in a few days, I've been cheating a little bit each day, Tuesday it was a piece of a friend's birthday cake, Wednesday it was Pringles, and yesterday it was ice cream. So I think I need to at least keep my weight loss / gain updated, otherwise, I'll probably gain back everything I've lost.

On a positive note, I am no longer considered obese, based on some BMI caculator I checked, I am now just overweight. :)
 

I am a Samerthis week....I think Aunt Flow is finally back. I can't tell...damn post-pregnacy bleeding! (sorry TMI!!) I will say she is though b/c it makes for a nice excuse!! ;)

I am +1 pound!

This has not been the best week. Queen Sabotage has been riding on my left shoulder, while King I-Don't-Give-A-Care has been hounding me from the right. I was trying to keep from being drafted to either side, but then Auntie Flo shows up and shoves me off the cliff.

Did I mention that DD is having teen angst? Well, moodiness and drama must be infectious, because DH has come down with a WHOPPING dose of it.

I tell ya, when it rains, it pours.


Well, I hope everyone else has some pretty numbers. :thumbsup2

Yall inspire me.

This to shall pass, and next week WILL be a better week.:dance3:

Amazing! And :thumbsup2 on the improved relationship. I have to recommend a book, The Five Love Languages, for everyone married or in a committed relationship. Even better if you can get your SO to read it, too, but it works even if only one uses it. It's really about giving (and getting) the right kind of attention.
That is the BEST book! It really helped me see I wasn't meeting his needs at all.
That is allllll fixed now ;)
 
I'm a happy girl....DOWN 2.6..yay! NOW this is with being on pts but really not too much exercise, so hopefully i will work out more next week and still see a loss..i will be happy with just continuous 1 pound losses ever week...but this was a nice start! :)

I hardly ever use my flex points. My weigh in day is Tuesday so usually tuesday I don't really count my points but I don't go crazy. The weekend is where I get into trouble. So probably tuesday I would use them I guess.

I was going to make this but I'm afraid it will be too hot for me. I'm not a big spicy food kind-a-girl.
as far as the salsa goes you can always substitute the jalepenos with those pecorino (spelling?) peppers that are just a little spicy..i bet that would work too :)

MAPIGLETFAN: That is so awesome on the willpower on the eating out with your Mom!!! That always seems to make me cave...like restuarant calories don't count or something! Next time I go out, I'm going to look up the calories

I have been trying a self tanner....it's only been 4 days, but it's not to bad! Alot better than baking myself in the sun!!!

Yah it can be a bit of a pain for my dining companions when i pull out the ole calorie king book or go online before leaving, but if it helps me in the long run with my goal..then its worth the rolling eyes :rotfl:

HI BEE!!! its nice to "see" you again..hope all is well!!

You can use them and still lose weight, but if you use them right before weigh-in, you might see a temporary gain, so don't let that destroy your confidence. Just stick with the program, and it will be gone the next week.
NICE! I am planning on today/tommorow as the days i will use them. Tonight we are bbqing with some friends at our place...and tommorow night we are going to celebrate Greg's brothers birthday..so i am sure with proper counting and planning i can make it work..i am TOTALLY having a little bagel in a bit though from my favorite local bagel place...with light cream cheese mind you ;)

3 of which happened later last Friday...-6 was my official morning wt. But since I'm addicted to the scale, -3 more more that same day I added to the -7 throughout this week.

SO glad I don't have Aunt Flo anymore...she's the devil to a lot of us!!!!! Heh!
 
WOW!!!!I'm super impressed with the great numbers this week! I sadly have to report that I am a samer this week...... I wish I could put my finger on what it is that did me in. I went over my 20 pts a couple of days but didn't use all of my flex pts so I'm at a loss to explain it. (By WW standards, I should be able to have 22 pts/day but that's even too much.....)

I use ALL my 35 points every week and still manange to lose weight since January i have lost 22 pounds!

As you can see from my weigh in this week, I can't use a single extra point or I don't lose at all.

Remember a couple of pages ago, when I said that my freezer had died? Well, the repairman just left, and you will never guess what was wrong.....

My DS(4) had turned the thermostat to "off". :rotfl2: I felt soooo stupid! But, I just had to laugh. Good thing I had a service contract on it or I would have paid $60 for them to come turn my thermostat back on.:rolleyes:

Oh no......all that lost food. Our fridge is tricky and you ave to double check to make sure the french doors are completely closed because sometimes they will pop back open. I went out with the kids one day and came home to an open fridge. It turned itself off so the motor wasn't blown but it was touch and go until it reset itself and started running again.

I must, I must, I must decrease my butt!

(does anyone else remember that from years ago? except it was-I must, I must, I must increase my bust-)

Melinda, how about you? Louisville has some damage to buildings and such.

I slept through the whole thing, it woke DH up though. No damage to anything, just scared the dogs.

I've got to run, DH has a Dr appt in a bit and I have to figure out what I'm going to do differently next week so I have a pretty number as well.

MaPiggletfan~ Dh sometimes gets annoyed when I take the few mins to look something up when we're walking out the door but I'm much more perpared to go out if I know what my options are before hand. I've also called him and had him look things up for me if I'm going to grab a quick bite during my dinner break.

I'm starting to feel discouraged again. I can only manage to lose a pound here and there- and then I feel myself giving up. The only way I have seen a big number is in the GAIN column.

Getting along muuuuch better with DH. We were *this* close to splitting.
That's a biggie.

Diet wise...mostly protein with tons and tons of veggies. One meal per day is a 50 gram protein shake mixed with water. This is the Twin Labs protein shake
doubled with 12 oz.VERY cold water, as per the instructions. Protein keeps me full much longer than carbs so I eat the protein first.

Water (Crystal Lite) ALL day.

The tread mill is my best friend! But the weather is getting nicer and my dogs need to be walked. :cool1:

UM, you kick butt. Like really. And I understand the other thing, I am so there lately. And it definitely, definitely has an effect on your life.

I am having a bad day.
