UM.... nice joke.... I would play that joke on my DH, but I don't want him to die of a heartache just two weeks before our trip!

No joke, but I've already done 33 minutes on the treadmill and drank 24 oz. of water! Plus I've folded two loads of laundry, including matching a whole load of white socks. Ready to start the packing for my trip!! Now I just need to convince the cat that the open suitcase sitting on my scrapbook table is NOT a new bed for her!

Off to shower to get ready for DS's field trip. Hope everyone has a SLIM day! ..........................P

The picture was taken last May 5, 2007...My fiance is a typcial guy he loves beer, football, baseball and could care less about Disney..on top of all that he hates PDA and being the center of attention. So I was completely SHOCKED! (as you can tell from the picture) that he would propose to me of all places in the middle of main st at the magic kingdom! He totally surprised me and luckingly the photopass photographer captured the whole thing in pictures! How crazy!?

cool!!! we'll be at pop. this is kind of a bonus trip for me. it came about when a friend of mine mentioned doing a girl's weekend without our DHs. then my wheels started turning and i realized that my AP expires on 9/22 and that they normally offer free dining in september. so a trip was planned! considering that DH and i are staying at SSR when we go in april/may and that we're going back in december for the christmas stuff, i wanted to spend the least amount of money as i possibly could, so we booked pop. i'm still hoping for the free dining announcement though!

i won't mention how i did this to DH awhile back......WAY before either of us were ready for children. i know.....I'M EVIL!!! i look back at that and can't believe i was so mean. but he reacted wonderfully! kinda made me realize what a great guy he is.

i just wanted to clarify for the newbies what the 2 competitions are right now (i know it's hard to remember all this stuff!)

Yeah, what she said! My "challenge" is more of a personal challenge, such as "I challenge myself to lose 5 pounds". It started before Thanksgiving of last year, because I wanted to challenge myself. So I threw down the gauntlet (I have to find other ways to use that phrase because it is so cool) to the rest of the Peeps to do the same. So if you want in, just post on here what you want to accomplish between now and Cinco de Mayo, and I'll add you to the list!

Hello everyone!Happy April Fools Day!

Utah Mama: I was scrolling through the posts and saw yours....you got me until I finished scrolling!!! I hadn't even remembered it was April Fools Day, boy were my eyebrows raised! (instant face lift?!)

So far today, 1 can of Progresso soup (Italian Wedding Flavor- my favorite) "low sodium" and 180 calories, 1 piece of wheat bread with pimento cheese = 130 calories and soon to go off and grunt, moan and make really ugly faces while I do the "Super Callentics" video. That lady is a SLAVE DRIVER. "pull your pelvis in...higher, tuck your pelvis in and aim towards the sky! There.... your body feels like a feather!" No-my body DOES NOT feel like a feather, unless it's a 200 pound one made of lead! The exercises do work though.

Oh yeah- just a little mini vent- if ya don't mind-

I'm calling around for insurance estimates, we have been using Nationwide for 6 years, same agent. Well, (my fault) I have not repriced our commercial policy in a looong time, it's up for renewal and the SAME policy, actually with better uninsured coverage (cuz' you gotta have that, to many people like my crazy neighbors driving without it! but they are a WHOLE other story) for HALF of what we are paying now. That is $2,500.00 less. I feel like I let myself be robbed by not checking this out sooner. I'm very happy with the savings, espcially because we really need to save $ right now, but jeez! I wonder what they were doing with the extra money? Gold plating the stamps or what? Live and learn, and COMPARISON shop.

Thank you Elizabeth. Actually last night he said something about writing to Santa again and I told him that Santa can't keep him from having anymore birthdays and that I will be with him for a very long time. I was trying to think if George of the Jungle had something to do with that. Well last night we're watching Chicken Little and there's a picture of him, his dad and his mom and the father at one point in the movie (during the beginning) looks at the picture and says "you'd know what to do if you were here" and Nicholas says "where is she" I knew the answer but I told him I didn't know and then he kind of went on to say a favorite part in the movie that was coming up. He tells me he doesn't know why he was thinking about it but I guess the show might of got his little mind working. Yesterday in school was not a good day for him either, he had to bring home papers (2) and do over.

Punkin... we are going to leave before you arrive. Sorry! I hope you have a terrific time. I am actually a bit SAD that my trip is coming up so soon. Only two weeks away and you know it will be here before I can even think about it (especially since both weekends between now and then are busy) and then it will be OVER before you can blink. I'm already getting "withdrawals" and we haven't even left yet!

As my kids get older I keep thinking of everything that may not be as "fun" or as "special" the next time. But the good thing about this trip is that DS (just turned 10) finally got over his fears (for the most part) of the "big" rides and seems to be game to try everything! I'm so excited for him! But DD is mad.... she got to use his FastPasses in the past for the big rides, so she got double rides. But no more of that.... he is ready for the big time! He rode California Screamin' 7 times in one day in 2005, plus multiple rides on Space Mountain, so I have ASSURED him that he is ready for anything that WDW can dish out! .....................................P

Yeah funny how when it's them that have the "extra" cash it's not a problem but wait if their rates go up you'll be notified 4 months in advance. Cool that your saving money, that's always a +.

Going out for dinner at LongHorn's for DS birthday. Oh I just realized I have to change his age to 9, makes me sad he's getting so big.
