Although I was good and bought a 12-pk of diet mug root beer this weekend. And it's caffeine free!
I get the 'Cola Craving' and the world might as well end. I like root beer well enough and have heard that the diet kind tastes just as good as the real thing (as is the case with ginger ale, which also works in a pinch). I should try that. I gave up soda a while back but I always need something like this, 'just in case'.
the craziest thing i've ever sat through was a 2-day deposition of a woman who had knowingly slept (and i'm not using the word "slept" as in sharing a bed, but as in had relations) with her biological father while on vacation.
I have no words. Just. EW.
The first crab cakes (Kona) will be in the next part of my TR.
I keep wanting to read your trippie(s). Mental note. As soon as I'm done with this response. Get a-subscribin'.
OK...guess what I started 2 weeks ago ???? BALLET, I swear, no joke ! I have not danced in 25 years but I just started and I LOVE it. It is such a great work out. All the "girls" in my class are between 17-24...I am a tad bit older at almost 38 ! Hey, you are only as old as you feel right ???

Anyways...my leotard and skirt would look a whole lot better if I was a teeny tiny bit smaller.
Kim, I was a dancer from age 3 to age 11. I gave it up because I was 'tired' of ballet (I also did tap and jazz). Oh how I'm kicking myself in the butt now. Are you/will you be doing pointe?
I would love to get back into it but haven't been able to find anywhere in my area with adultish classes. It's all little ones. Also, right now, leotards would be the devil!!! However, after the BF's shoulder surgery at the end of the month, we're probably going to sign up for Latin dance lessons over the winter session at our local CC.
Good luck and welcome back.
have you guys seen the transformers movie?
LOVED IT. I keep seeing the commercials for the DVD on TV and telling the BF we need to pick it up.
And I hope your little Shermie is ok. Does he have seizures often?
top 3 "good for you foods"
I have 4.
1. Motts 'tots' juice boxes: I love me some juice. Especially apple juice. These juice boxes have 40% less sugar and while they definitely taste a little 'watered down', they satisfy the craving.
2. Fat Free cream cheese: This saves me in the morning. For whatever reason, at breakfast I
always crave something sweet and salty. This takes care of the salty part and the sweet part is usually an Eggo Whole Wheat Blueberry waffle or a Thomas' Honey Wheat or Oatmeal & Honey english muffin.
3. Sargento Light String Cheese: This actually satisfies the cheese craving for the day. It really does. I love mozarella and this tastes pretty good. I also use the Kraft 2% Singles. I know it has more fat/cal. than the Skim ones, but the Skim ones taste so fake to me. And besides, you're supposed to have
some fat in your diet. This is mine. Yay.
4. Lite n' Fit yogurts: Especially in raspberry and blackberry. They're only 60 calories (or 45 for the smaller ones) and they are sooooo good. Plus, I'm one of those people that has a 'thing' about chunky fruit yogurt, and these two flavors are smooth and fruit-on-the-bottom-less.
This is a rather distracted male coworker that I am friendly with but don't really talk to that often, so for him to notice, man, he made my night!
Isn't that a great feeling?! Now, just imagine all of the people who are thinking the same thing but not saying anything (and I'm sure there are lots).
This is for you -

. I hope your week gets better.
Morning to all of the peeps out there. I second HockeyKat's sentiment of a skinny day. I, personally, am not feeling it, but that's ok. There's always tomorrow. I have also decided that after this weekend's birthday-eat-a-thon, I'm going to hold off on weighing myself until Friday (usually I do it every day). I'll also update my tickers then. Hopefully it's not too bad. I'm hoping for a negative, but am expecting to stay the same or even go up a little.
It's a high stress week and I know that if I see the number climb early on in the week, I'll likely try to cope with my disappointment with food.
Vicious, vicious cycle, that is.
