okay, well i thought it would be nice to hold a dis slide party for everyone who participated in the competition. the main party room will be "Disney Slide After Party" (i am not going to say dis, because i don't want to be banned- i encourage you all NOT to mention the dis!!!).

plz remember this password as you will not be let in without it (i will ask you the password in a trade, and if for some reason you froget the password, you'll be asked what slide team you're on). please let any non-dis members on your team know about the party and the password. at the party, we will get to ride each others slides, maybe play some games, and have our slides judged in our own dis slide competition. each team captain should arrange to meet me so i can give them a teleporter which they should put in their starting room (the teleporter doesn't have to be placed in the starting room during the slide competition). that way we can ride each other's slides without having to do a search for each starting room. i will try to get 2 or 3 dis members who did not participate in the slide competition to ride each slide, then together they can pick a DIS SLIDE WINNER (if we find out who the winner of the real competition is before the party, and it's one of the dis teams, they won't be able to compete in the dis slide competition- i think that's only fair, don't you?). i will work on prizes for our slide competiton, but be warned that they'll be small because i'm going to need 20 of each prize. so please post if you'll be coming so that i know how many people to expect, and if you have anymore ideas for the party, feel free to post them.

ok, now i'll work on finding dis judges for our slide competition.

here are the three main catagories:

best slide(we may also do 2nd and 3rd place depending on how many more teams want to join)

best ride room (this is based soley on the ride, not the scenery or color of the room- there may be 2nd and 3rd place as well)

best scenery in a room (based soley on the scenery and theming of the room (not on the ride track)- may also do 2nd and 3rd)

if you have suggestions for another catagory, feel free to suggest it!

okay, here's an update:

the party will not take place until 4 EST. i am hoping to give out room awards by 4:30. team captains, i need to know if any members of your team are coming, because i am going to be very busy tomorrow, and i am going to have trouble getting on for the party as it is. so i need to know how many people are coming!!! if not a lot of people are expected to come, i will move the party to a friday or saturday night, but the judging will take place tomorrow. that way awards can be given out on friday night. however, i still need to meet with any team captains i have not already met with so we can exchange teleporters!

i'm sorry, this party is going to be cancelled unless more people come. this is because i am going to have a lot of trouble getting on, making the party rather shaky as it is, but i definatley can't hold the large party i wanted for the few people who said they'd come. anyways, at this rate, i only have one team who said they'd like their slide to be judged, so i can't hold the dis slide competion. if possible, i'll hang out in my room anyway at five just to hang out (i would really like to meet all of you and haven't had a chance to......... yet). so until further notice, this slide party is cancelled.
