I can't get anything right. And yikes with taxes. I am living with the nightmare of taxes…..

Are you having a rough time Usnuz? I always put them off as long as I can. Now that we're leasing our land for walnuts I might have to start hiring someone to do them next year.

Well she is depressed. She is at least getting around the house on her scooter. She can get to the potty without me which is a relief. It was hard to get up two or three times a night to help her potty.

But now she can't seem to go back to sleep at night so now she is extra tired during the day. She is very frustrated and there isn't anything I can do which is frustrating for me.

That sounds like a crazy thing that you need an accountant to work out. We have so many crazy things that we don't even bother, but once you get beyond a standard w2. I think an accountant is necessary!

I could probably do them, but I don't feel like doing the research so yes an accountant would be worth it. It's pretty straight forward for us since we're leasing the land only, no other expenses on our side.

You must be getting excited for you b-day weekend. I've spent the evening taking two of the cats to the vet for shots and working on our Kauai/Aulani trip. The vet has made a bundle off of us this week, between the two dogs and three cats.

Oh the vet stands to make a bundle off us once we bring everyone in, but they do gI've us a hefty discount. I'm not sre.how we are working thinge especially with regards to licenses and moving. I let them lapse due to the whole foot thing.

I hope so, one week from earlier today we see the doc again. I finally finished up the insurance forms, now the doc's secretary has to fill them out, and then I can submit them for our refunds. It will be about $1500 total. Plus we need to call in on the gift cards and find out which ones got money back. We should have quite a bit of money back in Disney gift cards. But then again we have about the same amount in cruises booked in the fall, I guess it's just money we don't have to spend on more gift cards.

I hope she doesn't get all anti social at the party. A little over two weeks to go.

And I had to stay up extra late because Milo ran out the door when we came home from Band. From now on he stays in "Time Out" when we go to band. That way he can't run out the door when we get home. I just have to make sure not too many others are caught in time out when I put him there. I am not chasing him until 1AM to come in. I'm going to bed now!

He's just eating, watching TV and sleeping. I'll try looking for a place this weekend.

On the good news I found someone to book my one night I'm short for Aulani in November. I had to cancel the Southern Caribbean cruise so the six of us are doing a week in Kauai and then DD/DSIL and us will do 3 nights at Aulani.

Been a busy week for me as a single parent. I haven't even really been lurking on the Dis at all! Soooooo much to catch up on.

I hope the pain goes away soon. I'm hanging in there, my brain is filling pretty tired by the end of the day with this new job.

When I had to cancel our S. Caribbean cruise Kauai was what the group wanted to do in it's place. I was thrilled since it's my other happy place! We're splitting a 2 bedroom unit for a week in Kauai with DD/DSIL and DH's cousin/wife, then we're hitting Aulani for 3 nights. We'll have to be careful snorkeling as the box jellyfish come in around the middle of the trip for a couple of days.
