Forgive me... research project for school!

I thought the replies to the "How long have you been married? How old were you when you were married?" were very interesting. As someone pointed out, a huge number of DISers were married "young" by whatever standards. I am taking that information and incorporating it into this poll for a school research project (Education Major): In this specific population, does the age you married predict your level of education?

Please feel free to answer if you didn't answer the marriage polls. Just taking a lumped group here.

Thanks much!

i was just shy of 30 when i married with a bachelors degree and 3 associate degrees. dh was 23 with no college degrees (went on to get his bachelors after we married).

I was married at 21, and have a JD.

DH was married at 22 and has his h.s. diploma.

Although I am divorced now, I married at 25, and have a BAchelor's degee. I am a teacher. Hope it helps.

Married at 24, currently 2 classes away from finishing my Masters. We waited until I had my bachelors before getting married.

I was married at 27, got a Master's degree at 28, had a baby at 30 and another at 35, and got a divorce at 40. Wow, that's a pretty short summary of my life!!!!!

We were both 23 when we got married. Both had our bachelors at the time :)

I was 26 when I married, I have a bachelor's degree.

I married aged 22 and DH was 23. We both had bachelor of arts honours degrees and post graduate education certificates when we married. Now 8 years later we are both studying for masters degrees, mine in Education, DH in Computer Technology. We are doing this after work hours as we both work full time. Both our BA degrees were in music and all our qualifications were gained in England (not sure if that makes a difference to your research or not but I thought I would mention it.)

I married at 20 while attending college. I got preggo right away and was having some problems and the docs suggested I stopped going to school. I haven't been back since. I completed 2 full years.

I was married at 22 and had just finished my bachelor's degree. DH (same age) finished his bachelor's degree a year earlier. I had children at 30 and 33, and then finished my master's degree at 39. DH and I just celebrated our 30th anniversary.

DH & I were 24, both with Bachelor Degrees. I also have an additional Associate Degree

Married at 23 and I am 9 (maybe 10) classes away from my B.A.

DH was married at 26 and received his Associates the summer after we were married. He'll be going back to school when I'm done.

I was 23 when I got married. I had been working toward a degree in English/hearing impaired interpretation when my father became ill. I quit school to go take care of him and never finished my degree.

Now I own my own business that has nothing to do with my original degree aspirations.

I have a Bachelor's degree (Accounting), and my DH has the same plus a MBA.

I was married at 29 (four months ago!!) and I have my Master's Degree.

(I turned 29 on Dec. 8, got married two days later on Dec. 10, and graduated four days later with my Master's on Dec. 14!! It was a crazy month!!!!)

I have my doctorate and had a non-legal wedding to my wife (we're both female) when I was 34 and she was 44. She has her BA and is currently in school getting her MFA.
