I was 27 when I got married and had a BA; DH was 24 when we were married and had a BA. I'm working on a Master's and DH is considering his grad school options right now (MBA with a concentration in health care or an MPA).....

I didn't know exactly what to put in the poll.

I completed my BA, Masters and then Specialist( 36 hours above Masters) degree in Education before I married at 30. I couldn't or wouldn't go on for the Doctorate  as I wanted to start a family ASAP! That was a long time ago!

I have a bachelors, got into an MBA program and decided that I just wasn't ready to be poor again - so another year of work/bonuses it was. This turned out to be a very helpful decision in terms of financing our wedding. I'll be 26; he will be 30.

I'm another one of those from a college and an area of the country where young marriage is relatively uncommon. When I graduated, my class of 1100 featured 2 (two) married people and 1 (one) baby. Even now, almost four years later, less than one-third of my college classmates are married. We're all career-track.

DH- married at 23 and currently pursuing his Master's.

Me- married at 21 and went on to finish my BA one semester later. I would love to go back to school and get my Master's in the future.

Married at 27 and had masters work. Still taking classes and continuing my education.
DH was also 27 and had his masters in Business Administration.

I was 25 when we married - I had my Bachelor of Arts degree. Majored in English with writing emphasis and Communication with Interpersonal Emphasis.

DH was 26 when we got married - he had his Associate's degree in Computer Science and a secondary education (no degree) also in Automotive Technology (which comes in very handy...when I ask "what is that sound the engine is making?" and he says "nothing, don't worry about it," I can believe him)

I was 19 and DH was 20 when we married. He has a BS, and I'd categorize myself as "Some college, degree-seeking but did not complete".

We started college as freshmen one week after our wedding. DH graduated on schedule. I was to graduate with a BS the following semester, but had to pull out with about 4 weeks left to go. Although I was granted some extra time, I was unable to finish. A few years later I tried again, but again was unable to finish. Some time after that, I was offered an option to at least get an AA, but was unable to pursue it.

Married at 23. Master's in Education. BA in Broadcast Journalism. :sunny:

I was 21 when I got married and have a bachelors degree. :)

I am 23, engaged to be married next year (at 24). I graduated with a B.S. in urban planning at 21. I will graduate this May (at 23) with a master's degree in construction management. In May of this year, also I will begin an accelerated BSN (nursing program) that is 12 months in duration. So in May of 2007, I will graduate with my 2nd B.S.

My fiance is 24, and has his B.S. and will graduate with his M.S. in Construction Management this August. He will marry me when he is 25.

Hope this helps!

I spent all last year working on my thesis, in which I had to do over 300+ surveys, so I know how hard it can be to gather data!

Good luck! :goodvibes :sunny:

DH and I married at 23, this fall will be our 24th wedding anniversary. He has some college, I worked for the United States Postal Service for 20 years, was injured and retired disabled.....now (at 47) am in college, usually I am the oldest student in the room. Oh yes, Administration Of Justice, I currently have 33 credits toward my degree.

I have an MD in medicine and an MS in chemistry. My husband has an MS in chemistry. We married at 22 for me, 23 for him, two days after I got my BS, so, obviously we completed our graduate education while married.

DH and I got married as soon as he finished his degrees. When we married, I was 25 (graduated at age 22) and he was 28. I have a bachelors degree, he has a bachelors, JD, and LLM.

I think I might skew the results a bit...

Got my BSCE (Civil Engineering) at 27...and married at 39.

DH has multiple degrees (two Masters, and who knows what else...I can't keep up)...he was 42 when we married.

I'm not married...I have a Master's + 30 in elementary education and I'm working on a degree in special education. I also took classes to be certified to be a principal.

Bachelor's+ for me. Married at 28. I will return to school for a PhD in Psychology when DH retires next year.

Master's for DH in Human Resources.
