Well done on your 1lb loss, hopefully someone else can asnswer your question..ive got no idea, sorry !

Oh no - so much for losing that 1lb - I've gained 2lb!

We put new batteries in the scales last night and this is the result! I told DH to get the old batteries out of the bin!!! :rotfl:

I wouldn't mind but I started running again this week! :confused3

Ah well I won't let it put me off - it still feels great to be putting clothes on that feel loose!

Good luck for this week everyone. :thumbsup2

Oh no, I hate it when that happen, blooming batteries !! :wizard: Good luck for next week Janet

:woohoo: Well done on losing a pound

Only 1/2 a lb off this week after STS last week:sad2:

I tried hard this week too, I've even done 5 nights brisk walking that haven't done since I started the diet:headache:

I suppose I've got to focus on the positive though, I've lost 10.5lbs since I started....my goal is a stone off by my 40th birthday in May and then maintain that for hols at end of June, I feel so much better in my clothes already so that's something to hold onto plus my party dress looks good on me in the size small I bought last week:rotfl2:

Well done everyone who has lost or STS this week and good luck for next week:wizard:

Hi there guys,
Im a new here on the board although have been visiting for the last year or so. I am a fully confessed Disney addict, to me its like a season of the year, haha, ever year around the same time I get Disney-fever and find it hard to resist booking it again.
Anyway, I have piled on the pounds over xmas and am determined!!!!! to lose it and be fitter than ever for our next trip to Disney which we have just booked for August! Can't wait!
I have been dieting for a while and it has come to a halt and I realised that every few days I fell off the wagon because my evil mind convinced myself that I was not unhappy with my weight at all, just long enough for me to gorge on something bad and ruin my diet. So I have decided to bare all here on this forum to give myself a kick up the ****. I see many of you are also on a similar mission and thought it was a wonderful idea that you are all supporting each other.
Are you guys doing this with a trip to Disney in mind or just because?

Well, I have weighed in today at 142.5 pounds, my goal is 120 or less! and I have untill August 13th.

We are taking family with us to Disney this year who have never visited before (exciting) so I really want to reach my goal. I have held on to the baby fat from having my daughter (now 2 1/2) for too long now and want to be comfortable in my skin again for this trip.

Sorry for the length of this post, anything to take my mind of eating for a few minutes! haha

Thanks for listening ladies,

Heres hoping we reach our goals in time!!!! :)

lauren x

Welcome and good luck.

Hello Everyone

Well done on STS:thumbsup2

Hello my favourite bunch of losers!!! :rotfl:  :rotfl:

I weighed in this morning and I am happy to report that I lost another pound this week... :cool1:

Anyway, after a bit of a pep talk from my lovely friend, Claire  I've got to the stage where I'm thinking it would be best to change my mindset and start maintaining rather than always trying to lose. TBH I'm happier than I have been in a long time with how I look and I don't think the few pounds I am attempting to lose would suddenly give me those elusive cheek bones or a waist!!! ;)

So, I shall still be weighing in on a Friday morning but STS is what I'm after from now on...

Wishing you all a successful weight watching weekl!!! :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

Well done on the loss and gone luck with the maintenance plan, I think it's very sensible. I do know of a great boot camp that has just started around the parsk of Beckenham if you're ever interested. I'm not attending at the mo but will do in a few months. :)

Good luck for next week:thumbsup2 Those 2lb will shift :)

1lb off for me this week, I def need to up my exercise tho I'm thinking of getting an excerise bike-can anyone recommend a good one?

Good idea:thumbsup2 I only use commercial machines at the Gym and I bet they're probably mega expensive. Maybe try a fitness forum, good luck with your search:thumbsup2

 you are doing really well !

thankyou all for your warm welcome!

You all seem to be doing so well with your weight loss I feel rotten but at least it is inspiration to try harder!

I am a bit gutted today as i have not lost any weight, i have been on my new diet for a week and i lost one pound, then put it back on again!!! and I have been trying so hard and walking to work everyday (i never normally do this! It is a 40 minute walk) and also an excercise video twice!
Hurry up and start working before I get disgruntled! haha

Anyway, i think I have found my insirational image in my mind to make me stick to this diet:

the thought of my brother in law and mother in law walking up all those steps to the slush n gusher at the water park, them walking a couple of steps behind me with my backside jiggling like jello in their face!! haha
thats enough to make me skip chocolate for the next 5 months I think...heehee

What diet are you all doing? and which do you find works best?

cutting carbs, or just straightforward eat less than you use?

thanks guys :goodvibes

welcoem lauren, i love the thought of my kids staring at my jelly thighs, that works for me lol!!
i have lost 3lbs this week, which brings me back to where i started from lol - starting on the cambridge (sort off) tomorrow, 2 shakes (300 cals) during the day then a balanced meal in the evening.
i saw my GP on friday night, following the gall bladder removal, the pain has not gone - 2 weeks ago i had a camera stuck down my throat and no growths etc, so no "reason" for pain, but its still there....
so, have decided to do CD during day (my GP has agreed with me!) and then eat in the evening, mainly as i get no cramps/gas/pain on cd - but cant do it all the time!
my "weight loss" journey has been put on hold short term, although i hope this will help me lose too. i have lost 3lb this week doing this since wednesday am....
well done on the WL if you have done well this week, i think we are all losing momentum - i have 21 weeks left until i go, so thats quite motivating lol!!

Have you thought about trying SW or WW? I tried SW and have done well, although i go off track for events and then it takes me a while to get on track. I havent done so well recently but know its because i need to exercise more.
good luck.xxx:thumbsup2

My eating has been a bit erratic this week. I've still lost 2lbs.:) I want to lose one more pound before my wedding anniversary on 3rd April which will mean I've lost half a stone.

Well done to all the losers and sts's this week.:)

:woohoo: Well done on losing 2lbs Juliette, I hope you lose that last pesky pound soon

I am back after a few weeks away from my diet, I have been drinking and binging and going to various events which ruined the work I have done earlier but after a week of strict WW I am now back to where I was the last time I posted. I am classing it as STS but in reality I have yoyo'd a bit.

Well done to all those who lose progressively, it is so hard, good luck to those to yet weigh in.

I've just weighed and I've lost 1lb. I'm very happy with that as it's been a hectic week with meals at odd times and with a bit of eating out thrown in!

thankyou all and yes its that image that will keep me going. And also another one, Im sure some of you here will be able to see where im coming from with this one....
if youve ever been in the disney water parks at summer (as im certain you all have!!!) it the image of al those little teeny tiny honey skinned brazilian school/college girls (that go to disney in huge groups) that all have bottoms like two little chocolate buttons and insist on wearing thong bikinis....well thats my THINspiration hahaha

anyway...I have never heard of the cambridge diet but I have just enrolled last night on weight watchers! :)
online...i think the planner is excellent, I love being able to trac exactly what i have eaten and know when i can and cant afford to eat any more (thats my problem)
I have lost 2 pounds since last posting...yay.
just another stone to go....but I have just booked the rooms and flights finally for our holiday...2 weeks at the beach club with all the family on 20th august!
You say you have 21 weeks to go tracy? Till Disney I presume?
How exciting , I am so excited i cant think of anything else (except eating haha)
every year we go almost and yet ever year I am still as excited as the last!

Its so inspiring to hear that all you guys are on a similar mission. it is very motivating :D
