hi Steve, welcome :thumbsup2

What diet are you following ?

I am doing Weight Watchers, the points version of it. DW has done this before so we are both doing it this time. Got all the books so just doing our own weighing.

steve

sounds like everyone has had a fab start to the year. :cool1:

ive been watching the big fat diet too, yuck Marmite. :rotfl2:

Im meant to weigh in but not sure i want to go too far in this snow. i know the motorway isnt too bad but its the getting there. My week hasnt been too bad so i hope ive lost :)
think i'll carry on with the thought ive lost :thumbsup2

good luck eveyone for this week.xxx :wizard:

I have weighed in on the Wii this week and have lost 1lb since starting the diet. The bad news is I had put on 6lbs since last July or whenever I last was on the Wii Fit. So now I have another 5lbs to lose to get back to where I was last July, and then another 7 lbs to reach my initial target. Did my Wii Fit half hour and am looking forward to the weather improving so I get out for a walk on my days off.

Well, unfortunately my scales are still broken (replacing the batteries has not helped) so I had to resort to weighing in on the Wii Fit (not the most accurate method, I'm sure) but the overall result was that I appear to have lost 5 lbs. I'm quite happy with that as I have been incredibly good.

Hope this week's weigh-ins go well for everyone :goodvibes

WOW .... that's an excellent weight loss Joh ... well done :woohoo::woohoo:

well done Joh :thumbsup2

I lost 1.5 lbs - not bad considering andmuch better than I had expected

thats really good too ... well done :goodvibes

Doing well ladies and gents!

I'm loving the WW plan - I sat eating crisps the other night to use up some points as I had loads saved. hHd a snaky peak mid week and the dial's still moving in the right direction.....

Keep going everyone - think of those summer outfits!

Saw your post on FB sarah, thats not a bad gain, hopefully you will keep going in the right direction now

:thumbsup2

i think ive lost a good couple of pounds Joanne :thumbsup2

Nice one Nat.

Hi

I want to lose around 25lbs and this looks like a good place to get the support to do it.

I am weighing in on Mondays so wish me well and the good work to those of you who have already started.

steve

Sounds good:)

I got some fabby new electronic kitchen scales for christmas from my MIL, I whipped them out this morning and discovered I've been eating about 20grams too much special K in the morning :guilty: and the serving they recommend isn't that much:rolleyes: so I've been a bit hungry today. Really looking forward to my dinner, so just going to have a cuppa green tea and a satsuma :surfweb: to see off the hunger pangs.

lol, its surprising how small those portions are ;)

I love marmite but hate steak - thought it was rather a waste of Marmite actually!

Being serious, Marmite is my standby diet product. Counts as no points with WW so I have it on it's own on toast every morning and if I need a low cal snack I'll have it on ryvita.

Joining in here as I'd like to lose a stone or so over the coming months. I tend to go off my clothes size rather than my weight, so I'm aiming to go from a size 12 to a 10. It shouldn't be too difficult (hopefully!), I've been eating well this week and started up my gym regime again. :thumbsup2

Well done to those who have recently lost pounds! :)

Well done everyone:thumbsup2

I have my first post-christmas weigh in tomorrow:scared1:. I've got no idea what the damage will be but at least I can say I wholeheartedly enjoyed my fall off of the wagon:goodvibes

That's the same as my starting goal, hun - 12lbs overall! Can we do it? YES WE CAN!!!! :worship: Good luck, Sarah!!!

I need some new electro-scales, Jo - mine won't work even with a new battery... I shall switch to weighing my protein when the weight loss under the current regime slows down... ;)

Fingers crossed it's not too bad - but yeah, falling off the wagon was soooo much fun... :rolleyes1

Hi, Lauren! Best of luck dropping that dress size!!! :wizard:

I weighed in this morning and am pleased to say I've lost 3lbs this week!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Glad to see this thread is active with lost of nice losses posted :goodvibes Good luck to everyone starting out or joining up again after a break.

I put on a couple of lbs over Christmas but lost them again and I'm still at goal weight (I even managed to weigh in wearing "normal" clothes rather than the "just enough so as not to get arrested" outfits I'd been wearing for weigh ins up until now) I've finished my 3 weeks maintenance and will proudly collect my gold card next week.

I'm going to take a leaf out of your book Nat and loose about half a stone before we go to Florida in the summer so that I'll be in credit while we're there and the damage won't be too bad when get get home :rotfl:
