Walt died long before I was even born, and I'm still not over it!

I was 5 years old and I remember that the TV stations (all 4 that we had at the time ) kept doing 'this is a special report' break-in's to programming to announce it over and over and over.

Can't believe I scrolled this far and didn't see Jimmy Buffett...any parrotheads out there? He lived a long life with so many adventures, so don't feel as sad as for someone who's life and talent were cut short. But still...loved his music - particularly the lesser-known but amazing songs that didn't make radio airplay.

Yep, that's one on my list... I know he never thought he'd live as long as he did, but still. I'd been to a bunch of shows but then hadn't in a while. Resolved to go the next tour, but too late.
