Dinner seating question!!

We are traveling the Wonder Jan 11 to Jan 15. I'm a single mom and its gonna be just my DD-9 and me. She's wondering if it is possible to request a table with children close to her age. She is alittle on the shy side, but warms up fast. She wants to go o the lab this time, she was too shy last time. She figures if she knows someone from dinner it would be easier. If this is impossible, does anyone have any other suggestions for her anxiety?

Is there a thread started for you sail date? If not, START one. That way you can go there and post asking if there are any other little girls out there around your daughter's age. You can request that your dining reservations get linked. That way she will have a friend at dinner and in the clubs...and they can e-mail before hand a bit to get to say "hi".

All joking aside JRTINKERBELL, if your DD attends the Lab activities on the first night she'll be able to develop friendships along with everyone else. The counselors are quite adept at helping a shy child interact with other kids.

On our two cruises, "Buckaroo" tried the Lab and didn't really care for it. So he spent a lot of time with Dad. We had a terrific time and the memories are - to me - priceless...

Shy DD on 1/11/04 Wonder, any suggestions, any others? or Any 1/11/04 DD's looking for a friend? might help to get the responses you're looking for?

*update* I checked all the way back to page 20 this morning and couldn't find a 1/11 cruise thread. So if changing the title doesn't help, maybe opening a new thread might. Just an idea.
