Reservation reminder emails are now being sent out to guests giving a 24 hour reminder notice of upcoming dining reservations.

Won’t do me much good, I won’t be looking at my email until I get Home and I have three weeks of meal reservations..

You think they'd send them out a week before your trip for all your reservations.

I guess a lot of people have smart phones though so maybe that's their thought?

Yes, I get my mail on my phone so I think that's a nice addition. Of course, I don't think I have ever forgotten a dining reservation, but still....

I wonder if this is an added courtesy or if they have a problem with no shows on the reservations. I'm sure there is always a percentage, but I wonder how bad it is. I'm always conscientious about cancelling our rezzies, but I would imagine in the excitement of the parks how many people much either forget about them or change their plans at the last minute.

Interesting....we just got back and got a reminder about one and not the other reservation. Panicked for a minute that one had been canceled, but it was still there.

More than 24 hr notice would be nice, especially at the restaurants that charage a no-show fee.

Nice touch. I'll be able to see it on my smart phone.

We use Tripit for all our reservations (hotel, airline, dining, tours, etc.) and share the information with all the travellers. Many of us have smart phones so everyone has access to the information. For those that don't, they will print the information and have it in the room.

Very often I'll download the Tripit information to my calendar (outlook) and get reminders through that too.
