Dining plan CS dessert question

I've read that some posters have been able to go back to the CS restuarant later in the day to get their dessert (since they didn't want it when they ate the CS meal). Have a lot of you been able to do this?

Along the same lines...I was also wondering if you can get the dessert at another CS restuarant...i.e., get a burger/fries/soda at Pecos Bill, then get dessert at Cosmic Ray's using the same CS credit?

The only time I have heard posters mention getting a dessert at a later time is at the water parks where you are given a voucher/ticket for an ice cream that you can get later, presumably so it doesn't melt while you eat your lunch.

You cannot get a dessert at a different CS than the one where you lunch.

A CS credit is one whole unit that you use up when you order. It is not credits that can be used to get a drink, entree and dessert separately.
