Dilemma, We Got The 40% Off Code But Were Planning 2009...

What to do? Opinions? We just got the 40% off code in the mail and have 7 time frames to use it. We would choose the Dec. time. But we want to stay LVC at the Poly in 2009. Last night DH and I talked this over and I am going to see if we can crunch numbers to try to go in 2008. We really want to stay at the Poly because I have a bad knee and the monorail is so convenient and we love the resort.
Should we go for it? Or wait till 2009?

I would change in a heart beat to go this year with that code. Staying at a deluxe makes it even a better deal.

Yes, you're right, the %40 code is too good to pass up. If I received one, I would definitely save all I had to in order to use it this year. Go for it!!

Value season + 40% off discount + deluxe resort = one of the best deals you can get, in my opinion. I would take advantage of the 40% deal if it were me. Congrats!

We got the code also but we are not planning on going back until 2009. If we didn't already have another vacation already booked and paid for mostly we might have changed. Here is hoping they send out another one next year but I won't hold my breath. We will go either way.

I just called and asked if I had a code attached to my name. The first time I called the CM told me that I did not have one for Nov. 8-16. After reading on another thread that the code was good for Nov. 9-16th I called back again and what do you know, there was a code. Below are the dates that I believe the code is for. You may want to start there then adjust your reservation to include other dates. HTH

February 24th to March 5th
March 30th to April 8th
August 10th to September 27th
October 19th to November 1st
November 9th to November 15th
December 7th to December 17th"

Dec. 5 & 6th you may have to pay rack rate for and then get a discount for the remainder. Don't be afraid to keep trying if they say you don't have a code.

I haven't received this new postcard, but did get one last fall and was not able to go. Do you think if I called to see if I have a code attached to my name there might be a chance of them saying yes? I have never called them before.
