Happy Halloween Everyone!!

I thought these pics are both Halloween and DCL. Taken last year on our Magic cruise in Oct. They had trick-or-treating and a costume parade.

Has anyone seen the pictures and videos on the Dream?? I am now looking into changing my RCCL for Christmas 2011 to the Dream and WDW. I would really like to get an inside just for the amimated porthole, but they don't have that many insides...go figure.

They look so cute. Wish we were all there today. Just think of the fun! Danny and I were on a Princess cruise on Halloween and there wasn't anyone dress up and only a table full of pumpkins that we saw.

Sorry haven't been on the boards in a few weeks. Horseback riding sounds good. Colin will be about 2 1/2 months shy of his 4th birthday so I'm hoping he will do well. He's much more adventurous than Aiden so I think he'll be good. Let's go ahead and do it - assuming you guys are still up for it. If it's better to stay on the ship on that port than I'm fine skipping out.

We are still up for horseback riding. Let me contact Randi and find out the details and get back to you. BTW we just got home from a wedding in Yosemite. It was old and rainy but we saw a mama bear with her 2 cubs (from a shuttle bus). That was so cool!!

Hope you had a great time. Weddings in Yosemite are gorgeous with all the view choices. Hey...did you see Oprah on Friday? It was her trip to Yosemite. They will have day 2 on Wed. We personally don't camp in Yosemite, but the bears from Yosemite are relocated every year to where we go camping at Mammoth Pools (not Mammoth Lake). Where did you stay?

I watched part of the Dream float out via webcam yesterday, then saw some better video on YouTube. Got to admit I got a little teary when they blew the horn for the first time. We have a room booked in the back for next July and there were some great shots of people standing on "our" balcony.

Thanks for setting up the horseback riding. I think the kids are going to love it. Bummer the weather wasn't better in Yosemite. It's so beautiful up there. We will have to plan another camping trip up there.

Hello, everyone, from lovely but chilly Chicago (I know, chilly is relative, but I live in the desert!). I'm here on a business trip and while it's a nice town, sometimes life just isn't fair. My DH just tells me he has to go on a business trip in February - to Orlando!! Why do I get sent to Chicago and he gets to go to Orlando? He doesn't even care about going to WDW and I can't take Sami out of school for a week to join him. Oh, well, we can console ourselves with our mother/daughter trip to DL next week.

Can't believe it's November already - another month closer to our cruise!

Can you believe it was 95 here at 4:45? This is just such crazy weather. I don't mean to complain but I'm ready for fall and to wear my fall clothes!!!

That is good to know, I am going to call and see if my cabins have dropped in price at all. Since we are not taking part in the KSF promo, I should be able to get a price adjustment if they have dropped.

I saw a billboard a couple of days ago in Sacramento advertising the Wonder coming to L.A. It has the ship floating in the air with balloons, like in Up, saying something like Dreams are arriving in L.A.

A couple of weeks a go, a portion of our nice mall burned down because a crazy guy set it on fire. Well about 25% of the mall was destroyed, one store being The Disney Store. I was so sad to think of all that Disney merchandise being destroyed. It was a nice store, totally renovated a year or so ago. They hope to have all the stores open by black Friday, but I think the damage is to severe.

I just saw that billboard tonight while driving in Long Beach! I wish I had my camera with me.
