Did you know anyone famous before they were famous?

I knew "Jean Louisa Kelly" before she became famous..she was in one of the shows at HersheyPark, I have some great photos of her

A 1994 graduate of Columbia University with a B.A. in English, Kelly made her screen debut at age 16 in the film "Uncle Buck." Later she appeared in the television movies "One More Mountain," and "Tad." Ms. Kelly also co-starred in the Hallmark Hall of Fame Presentation of "Breathing Lessons" with James Garner and Joanne Woodward, and "Harvest of Fire" with patty Duke and Lolita Davidovitch. Kelly can also be seen starring as Luisa in the upcoming feature film version of "The Fantasticks."


In the spring of 2000, Jeannie was cast in a NBC 1 hour dramedy "Cold Feet" which was not picked up for a new season. Currently Jeannie can be seen every monday evening on the CBS comedy "Yes, Dear".

I was in 5th grade when our teacher, Mrs. Harris, would have her daughter come in and play guitar and sing for us.
Her daughter was Emmy Lou Harris (country singer). She wasn't singing country then, though. It was more like folk songs.

I went to high school with, and was friends with Danny Wright. He is a pianist/composer. His music is generally found under new age/alternative. He plays adult contemporary compositions, Broadway show tunes and movie themes, and classical music.

I don't think anyone in our high school really realized just how talented he was on the piano. He didn't play in the orchestra and was in the school choir so we didn't hear him play a lot. There was another guy who played the piano in the orchestra, so we all thought he was the best. HA!

HW he dated a friend of mine when we were in high school. He was nice; I wasn't good friends with him or anything I just knew him through her. I remember when they broke up, she was really hurt.

So, when he got arrested for flashing himself in Central Park, I always wondered how she felt about that

My sister went to high school with Brian James, her best friend dated him for the longest time. He went on to star in many musicals in Chicago and ended up as the lead in Titanic on Broadway. We saw him on the Rosie O'Donnell show one day and we were all cheering for him, he was he nicest guy.

My sister also went to school with Ann Clayton, who recently married Bob (or is it Harvey, I can never remember) Weinstein of Miramax. My mother worked with her mother and still keeps in touch. We have heard so many stories of the glamourous life she leads now.

I don't know who Dan Roebuck is, someone mentioned, but he is very good friends with a guy I know.
Someone mentioned Mary Lou Henner. She was in the same class in HS as I guy I worked with.

Also, there was Amy Maddigan who used to hang around in the same group in high school as me. I asked her out once. She said no.
Then, one guy I went to HS with is first cousin with Ray Manzarek of the Doors. Then I few years later I "went out" with a girl who was best friends with Jim Morrison's sister, and grew up with Jim.

Now, very good friends with one of the Chieftains.

I think there's one other, but can't remember it.

My Mom graduated high school with Steven Spielberg. She said she was in one of his movies-----the senior class trip to the beach!!!

I spent a couple years in high school with Elizabeth Perkins-the actress who was in Big and a few other things. She was known as Betsy Perkins back then-I even have her in my yearbook! She rode on my schoolbus and I shared a seat with her plenty of times. She was also in my gym class and was a cheerleader! If I knew how to get hold of her to see if she remembered the "Whitney twins" , I would!

Hey, profdsny, I sure hope that guy who knew Marilu Henner meant a dance or drama class or even a play, because Marilu went to an all-girls Catholic HS! It's pretty safe to say that if there had been any guys roaming the halls to attend class....we ALL would have known within 10 seconds flat! (Poor guy wouldn't have stood a chance!)

I'm not sure, but I know she came to visit him at work when she was in town with a play one time. Maybe they hung out together instead. But it was her.

My high school has a few illustrious alumni, and it turns out that Edie Falco was a year behind me. What makes it interesting is that she said in an interview that she was in the drama department, and so was I (working backstage). I still haven't figured out if our paths crossed, but I do remember some of her brothers and sisters. I never realized it was the same "Falco" until I read an interview where she mentioned she went to Northport High School.

kind of a stretch, but when my mother was young she saw/met actor John Raitt and he has his little daughter with him. She grew up to be Bonnie Raitt, the singer.

I met the guys of the Alarm when I was HS theyre an 80's band lol




I met several Olympians one year when I worked backstage at the Goodwill Games, even helped a Russian athelete hook up with her American BF ( back in the eighties when it was a big no no) she defected while we there. I watched the curtain while he snuck her in the back to make plans Dont remember his name but he was really nice.


Also helped to foil an international terrorist who was after a Romanian weightlifter. He passed by me with all the appropriate badges I went to take a break right afterwards and we got an alert about him I said " crap, he just went that way" and the FBI nabbed him My own personal claim to fame. I dont know who it was either but there was a huge trial. so I guess you could say I knew him when lol

I grew up with Diane on the Young and the Restless, Sue Walters. She lived about three houses down from us.

My mom use to babysit Fran Tarkenton...she was his Dad's secretary.

My sister's godfather was a backup singer for Elvis...he was in the group the Imperials.

I know Lacey Chabert from Party of Five, Lost in Space, Wild Thornberries, Lion King 2. All of her relatives live around me and she comes home quite often. They all attend our church. She is a very sweet and quiet girl. It is hard to believe she is an adult already!!

When I was a senior in high school my friend and I picked up a hitchhiking Billy Joel, who had just finished his very first solo album "Cold Spring Harbor." He was a nobody to the world, but to Long Islanders, he was the keyboard player for a band named "The Hassles." He and his friend were walking, guitarcase in hand along a major road in the pouring rain. They treated us to Donut Man (similar to Dunkin' Donuts) and asked for our phone numbers. After we got home after dropping them off, Billy Joel called me to come on over to his house. I didn't go, and believe me, I have regretted that decision--lol!
