Last year I went to Disney "WDW" during sept. and I was on the dining plan. At a few dining locations I spoke to the managers about issues or concerns dealing with their restaurant. Topics included tips, upselling "a waitress trying to get us to get the more expensive meal", service, and free dining. But at each location one of the few questions I got from the managers was " DID I GET ENOUGH? " Which I believe pertains to the amount of food or a quantity that is sufficient. Are the disney restaurants not caring or caring less about service and the quality of the food and more about a quantity that is sufficient? At all locations I became affended by this question. When I was asked this the 2nd and 3rd time I reacted asking," Why do the managers keep bringing up this? Why does this seem to be the only questions I recieve from you guys?" THey replied with we want to make sure your happy, blah blah blah. And never asking about the other aspects of dining. Now most managers always trys to change the subject to something that is positive to them. The last MGR that brought it up, I said "no it wasn't enough." I come from a family who has three full meals a day (Big breakfast, normal lunch, and a 3 course dinner) and snack at least twice a day (always before bedtime), so disney needs to add another Counter service on there plan. The manager then got defensive stating who most people say they get enough or too much(a quantity that is sufficient or over sufficient). I replied with, yes some people eat a power bar for breakfast, small salad for lunch no dressing and small portion dinner with no app or dessert and others eat more than my family. I sorry for venting but I keep seeing peoples threads where they feel the need to state how much food they had or how stuffed they got or waste of food. But when I get my meals from disney I'm asking the question "where's the beef?" I have been reading some threads where disney is giving smaller sizes and charing the same, and constant menu changes. BUt disney is a business. SO I guess the real question is "Did you get enough?"
