Did I Do The Right Thing (Work Related)

Just some of advice from someone who has been a manager for 15 years...

Keep quiet as much as possible and don't repeat what you hear from others. This gains you respect and trust from your peers and superiors. Once you lose those, you won't gain much else in your tenure at ANY job.

Your actions will state far more than any words ever can.

BTW, I am curious about the kids, too...no pictures, no mention of how they fared with the hurricane headed towards them, even though the question has been asked by many posters.

I am curious to know about the kids too.I think if I had been asked about my kids I would have answered along time ago, unless I did not know myself.

....always so much drama around this OP? ??? HW,you have kids???

I don't really understand the whole thing either. It's almost like some people develop an obsession with certain posters, and that keeps the person in the spot light. Oh well, whatever turns you on?

As for the OP's question. I guess that it is good in a way to get things out in the open in a work environment. Why let things fester and stay hidden. maybe everyone there can all have a meeting and deal with the issues togethor?:sunny:
