Did anyone watch Rock Star: INXS last night?

Yes, the Monday night episode will now air Sundays on VH1 at 8pm eastern, although luckily VH1 always reruns shows a million times so you can catch it sooner or later.

JD is creepy!!! What was that whole "Being Human...Human Being" thing with the tattoos. WEIRD. He is a talented musician but the band needs to look deeper than that to find someone to front their band. Namely, someone who "plays well with others" (which JD does not) and is not so manipulative. That is why I, as opposed to the above posters, really like the Monday night show. We get to see the human side of these people, and not just their vocals.

I enjoy watching the Monday night show (or now Sunday night) but I wish it was longer than 1/2 hour. I think the producers have WAY to much influence with how they portray the contestants...just in the amount of time they dedicate to each one and what they choose to show during that 1/2 hour.

The Monday night show continues on the regular station in Canada (which is a good thing since I don't have VH1)

I thought it was funny....and I think he was pretty drunk at the time...as where the rest of them. Frankly, I've never seen a group of men cry so much. Kinda blows the whole rock star image for me.

I really like Ty as a performer and singer but his blubbering like a baby is turning me off. How can you sport a mohawk and still cry? He's losing his rock star image quickly IMHO. I mean c'mon, he's auditioning for INXS not Oprah! And what's all that crap about being AA? I never heard Lenny Kravitz going on like that. He needs to quit talking and start singing.

I kinda liked Ty until last nights episode. His crying and topic of coversation annoyed me. So unnecessary. I hope Marty does well again tonight as he is my favorite followed by Mig and Jordis.

Ok, so far we have (my opinion) Suze, who clearly didn't understand the song "Losing my Religion". She sang it strong, but if it's sung strong, then it should be sung in anger, or sung dispassionately as REM does - it's all about "losing my religion" or losing your temper. She missed it but the band loved it.

I thought Mig did well. JD was ok, but I would have liked to have seen more of a rock show.

I think they blew the call on Jessica, saying the song was about passion. No, this Nirvana song was about dispassion - and Jessica was too strong for a weak vocally song.

Just my thoughts.

By the way, I thought of who Brandon reminded me of. When he's performing, I think of Zoolander (and I hated Zoolander).

So, how do we vote for Brooke and that outfit? (I'd use banana man but this is a family show)

So far the weakest three (to me) have been Jordis, Jessica and JD or Suzie (although I'm sure the last two won't be in the bottom 3). Brandon was strong, but the band was right, he's great at Southern Rock but INXS isn't Southern Rock.

Susie: She got lots of compliments, but I really was not impressed.

Mig: One of my favorite songs, I liked Mig's rendition. If Marty doesn't win, I want Mig.

JD: What is with the hair? But at the beginning, did you hear that Michael Hutchence sound? Wow! Went a little downhill after that though.

Jessica: Good job, impresses me more each week. But the band was right, didn't feel the passion.

Jordis: I really like her, but not this performance. This song was not meant to be this happy.

Brandon: Bottom 3? Nothing more to say.

Marty: More proof he is PERFECT for INXS!

Deanna: Loved it! But...can't see a female as a lead of INXS.

Still not sold on Marty for INXS, but he did do great. If he doesn't catch on with INXS he will get signed with someone, even if it's a solo career.

I think Brandon will as well, but with a Southern Rock band.

I agree with you 100% about Deanna. She did fantastic, but still not sold on her being the lead with INXS.
