Just returned from 8 days at the world and wondered if anyone had same experience that we had. We noticed a little girl in our family pictures and then running to other families to take pictures with them. We saw the same girl in a couple parks and she was doing the same thing. Kind of a cute thing.

What on earth were her parents thinking to allow her to run around in a crowded park like that? Talk about an accident waiting to happen!:worried:

Sorry, not cute. Dangerous, not cute.

I can see where it would be annoying, but how is it dangerous? It sounds like the child was just photo-bombing people, not trying to make friends with random strangers or follow them home.

A short little child suddenly running between groups could easily be hit by a stroller or an ECV who couldn't see her- or likewise be walked into by guests not expecting to see unaccompanied little ones running around on their own. And yes, I suppose there is also the risk of her being snatched, although I think this much less likely.

Sorry, but if I am taking pictures of my family I do not want your kid in them. Granted, there will probably people in the pictures depending where they are taken but I really don't want some random kid photo bombing my shots. It's not cute.

That sounds obnoxious, not cute.

Where the heck were her parents that she was able to do this in multiple parks?

Not cute. It would be annoying as heck. Why would parents allow their child to do this? I mean, it is obvious it wasn't a mistake or done to your friends to be "funny". It was just some random kid being a pain.

It's only "cute" if cute is another way of spelling rude and annoying...

That's a fair point. I can't count how many times I've stumbled over toddlers.

However, now I'm wondering what the OP's definition of a "little" girl is?

Are we talking 3 years? 6 years? 9 years? 12 years?

My reaction would be different, depending on the age of the child.

Could not agree more.

I assume her parents were egging her on because it was so "cute."

:confused3 No, not cute.

Cant say I noticed this on our trip. Glad to say we didnt as well. We did see some interesting things but not that.
That does seem very dangerous, obnoxious and rude. Cant believe someone would let their kid do that :worried:

Can't say we noticed. However, we had three different people ask me if they could take pics of my kids! Usually just my four year old, but the third time they asked to take a pic of all my kids. My husband was so weirded out by it!

Nothing to do with trip planning, moving to Community board.

She seemed to be around 10 and don't think she was alone
