Desperate for Help!!

We leave for WDW in 10 days and my plan has been to use ME and Disney transportation. We are staying at BWI smack between our favorite parks, so I rationalized we would be happy with WDW transportation. I should mention that my family HATES the Disney buses and waiting for the Disney buses. So now 10 days out I feel the need to rent a car and have control over our transportation. We are flying on Southwest so there is no check in advantage with ME. Someone please tell me what to do!! My husband doesn't care, the money is not an issue convince me one way or another.....Please!!!

If money is not an issue then I would get the car for sure! ME is great but getting the luggage back to the 3rd floor check in for SW is a pain. Also, I like having a car to get to the other theme parks...especially during peak weeks! Maybe you could use ME on the way in and get a car right over at the Dolphin for the time that you want it! That is what I am doing! Looks like we will be at the BWI at the same time!

For the sake of family harmony, I would go for a car rental.

There's no charge for Magical Express, so you won't be out any money there. I'm not sure what kind of a deal (if any) you might find for rates 10 days out, but if money's no object then that shouldn't be an issue. Besides, even if you do have a car, you still have the option to use Disney Transportation on occasion.

Thanks for the advice. I was able to get a mini-van through Alamo using a Southwest promotion for $211.00 for the week. I feel much better. I know we won't use it alot once we get to WDW but I think having it when we want it will be worth while. Thanks for the speedy replies.

**Update** Using the Costco link and coupons I got the same min-van for $184.00 I love The Dis!!!

I like having my own car offsite or not. Easy to eat out offsite or pick up a few munchies/water at a store.
