Can I ask a favour?.....

Please can someone out in Florida post a picture of the sun and blue sky. I really am fed up of this grim, grey and wet weather in the uk that just does not want to go away. I have never known such a prolonged period of such dire weather.

Someone bring me some sunshine pictures to make me smile!

Tagging onto the thread in case anyone posts pics. It is grey and horrible in the Midlands too :wave2:

I suffer terribly every summer in Scotland with the lack of sunshine. It affects my mood and my attitude and I dare say, the people around me too. It has got so bad that I am now making plans to move for the sake of my own health (and the sanity of those close to me)

Anyway, with this specifically in mind, last year whilst in MK I looked up and just stopped and stared at the sky and thought "I need this more often!"

So I took a photo ... yes of the sky ... with nothing else in the frame :rotfl:

This has been my Facebook cover whenever I've needed a dose of virtual vitamin D. So until you get some 'live' photos, here's one to get my friends started :goodvibes

You're right - it doesn't matter to me when you took that; it's a BEAUTIFUL sight to behold ::yes::

How cool would it be to be able to have a house and workplace with all walls made of high res screens that projected panoramic images like this ......

I'm so tired of Glasgow rain - I've actually managed to give myself a RSI in my hand *** I've had my brolly up nearly every day for four weeks!!

Thanks for the pictures - I got up this morning, looked out the window..... then came and looked at these pictures - 5 weeks and counting!

Next time we go we're looking for THAT magic image that will make us smile every day.... and then will get it turned into wallpaper so we can see it every day at the maximum possible size :)

Not in FLA, but with help could post some picture from my trip to the beach with my kids yesterday, 90 degress and beautiful!

*waving to the UK peeps*

I'm from FL and DH is from Scotland. I lived with him in Aberdeen with him for a year before we moved back here to Orlando. Growing up in FL, I had gotten so sick of the heat. You never realise what you have till it's gone though. I about went nuts over there because I think I saw the sun less than 5 times in that year. It was crazy. I'm glad to be back here but.....

Could you all bring me a Cheese and Onion sandwich when you come?

ETA: DH would like a King Rib from the chip shop, lol

Thank you so much for those lovely pics. We were at a lunch party today and the hosts had to put up a marquee at the last minute due to the shocking forecast. It's such a shame for all those with weddings, parties, etc etc middle of July for goodness sake !!!
