Derp Derp! The adventures of the Dapper, Disneybounding Princesses! Updated 7/8x6!!!!

Awesome meet and greet with the princesses!

One of these days I'm going to watch the whole Dream Along with Mickey although I feel like I've seen the whole thing from reading your TRs! :rotfl2:

I'm glad to finally read the whole story of your Move it Shake it guy. I'm disappointed I didn't get to see him that day with you guys!

Thanks!! Aw man, you totally should, it's a super cute show, although you probably would feel like you've seen it all already!

Ahahahahaha, yes! And, spoiler, I didn't see him either day I was down there in May either!! SUPER SAD. Hopefully he was just off hanging with some furry friends instead of gone!

Wow! I love how much interaction you guys got! You make me want to stay and actually watch the Move it Shake it parade and participate in the dancing. Also, don't hate me but I've never watched Dream Along With Mickey from start to finish.

I loved watching Wishes from sitting down in the hub once.Easier on the feet! I can see how it can make it harder for pictures if it's a show and you are close to the stage though.

As for your darker pictures, the tunnel that goes through the castle is opened, and there is no "purple tent", so I'm thinking they're from later. Maybe when you were waiting for Wishes?

It was great!! Aw man, you should totally stick around for Move It Shake It, it's so much fun!! Aha, I don't hate, one day I'm sure you'll see it! I always vary with my spots for Wishes, in Jan, I would sit on the wall in Tiana's little area and wait for their next set well watching, then I've watched from Main St and FLE and loved both of those. Think I'll do Main St again in Sept!

Yeah, I definitely noticed that, I'm pretty sure they're from before Wishes, they were just phone pictures so I'm not sure when they fit in with the others

I have seen the new Aurora dress, and given that it's probably not something I would normally notice, this one I did. It is SOOOO much better. Like WAY better. Everything about it is better, but that's just my opinion.

Never had a Dole Whip... WHAT!!?? Last trip I had the orange/vanilla swirl pineapple float which I think is my new fav. But they're all good.

That's a really cute moment being mistaken for the "Real Tink". Really nice.

I really think it's so totally awesome that you get emotional during Disney things.

I have really grown to love Dream Along and Move It Shake It more and more all the time. Move It Shake it is totally my favourite "parade" now and only behind Boo To You overall. The energy, the costumes, it's great.

Oh my gosh having now seen the new dress in person, it's amazing! I've been in love with all the redesigns, and I'm so NOT excited for Ariel's it just does not look good from the image I've seen, hopefully it looks better!

Haha, you can't blame her, it's only her second trip lol. It was adorable, the amount of times I've been mistaken for entertainment is insane. Move It Shake It is by far my favorite, it's so energetic and fun and so much dancing!

I am a longtime lurker but need to post to tell you that I am loving your trip reports! 'We're not going to Edmonton!" :rotfl2: As an Edmontonian, I found this hilarious. Who wouldn't chose Disney over Edmonton???

I also believe that Timmie's is required at Epcot-though I would have to start all mornings there. ;) Nothing wrong with that. I have brought individual packets of Tim Horton's when we stayed at CBR.

I love the Stampede and definitely think Chip n Dale would fit right in :thumbsup2

I can't wait to eat in the West Wing...October 2014 is much too far away!

Ahahaha, I'm originally an Edmontonian too! Where abouts in Edmonton are you? Lawl. Exactly, I mean, a weekend up at our "sister" theater and the waterpark would be fun, but Disney is far superior!

They need one there! I don't get why there isn't one. I didn't know they had individual packets! I'll have to look in on that!:thumbsup2

After Paige and I learnt that in fact, no body likes secrets, it was time to use those Jungle Cruise fast passes that we had been waiting on for a while now! The wait was posted 20 minutes, but we ended up waiting closer to 10, which of course, was lovely. While we were in line, I asked Paige if she was scared of spiders, remembering the one in the queue that jumps at you if you get too close to its cage. Turns out she is, so even after I swapped sides with her and told her about it she still jumped when it lunged at someone else! Lawl.

241_zpsd6ea4e10.jpg

It turned out to be a great ride! Our skipper was a younger guy, but had some kind of accent that made him harder to understand, and he was holding the mic a little too close to his face, making him harder to understand, so most of the boat ride was in awkward no laugh silence from everyone. However, a two week cruise when you get to see the backside of water is still amazing! Since we still hadn’t spent a lot of time over in Tommorrowland yet, we headed over there next, and stopped to get some pictures on the bridge along the way!

I had mentioned to Paige that I wanted to get pictures of us “gazing” at the castle, and that one is cute, but not exactly what I wanted, and the photographer wasn’t the friendliest, so we moved on! Our first mission was to help defeat ZURG AND SAVE THE UNIVERSE! When we got into the first room of the ride, Paige somehow hit a secret spot, like, she has no idea what she hit, but she did amazingly, and I of course, did pitiful, I suck at that ride..

Awesome job for her! With Space Mountain on our minds we headed over that way, and noticed there was a little dance party going on, on the Tomorrowland stage! It looked the same that the MNSSHP dance party’s go, a host leading you through dances, then the characters come off the stage and dance around with everyone. I really liked that they were doing this, more fun things for free!

244_zpsc59c158b.jpg

245_zps4f3bb215.jpg

We thought it was cute, and moved on, the posted wait time for Space wasn’t that bad, so we just jumped into the standby line and walked through the queue into the loading room. Somewhere in there, I must have posted something on facebook, and Lyssa, who I had met an the audition for Disney in July (and she got cast) saw it and commented something along the lines of “Come see Dale at the Tomorrowland Stage, he’d love a dance!” I facebooked back to her saying that we had just gotten in line for Space, but would be over there once we got off!

246_zps4cff57df.jpg

We decided to pose like our Disneybound’s for the day! Super cute! Again, the ride on Space was pretty tame, but that’s what you get on the left hand side. I’m going to have to fast pass it next time to get the more intense version! Heck yes! We finished blasting through space and made our way back to the stage. The characters were still the same as they were when we went in, so obviously the chipmunks would be out in a few minutes, so we stood and watched and waited!

Let me tell you, Goofy certainly had the MOVES goin on today, awesome enough that we both video’d a bunch of him dancing just to share with you!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGDYt7mYhBk

The characters that were up on the stage were soon finished after that dance, and they headed backstage, and some new ones came out, and lucky for us, that included some very awesome chipmunks! Yay! They went up onto the stage and did a little bit of dancing, where Chip was very good at shaking his tail feather!

250_zps256d598c.jpg

While they were up shaking their groove things, Paige leaned over to me and asked “Isn’t Dale the derpy one?” I told her yes, and she said something about Lyssa hanging out with Dale, and I was all “she’s with Chip?” And after a quick back check to facebook, clearly, I need to work on my memory, as Paige was right! Lawls. And yes, Dale really is the derpy one, I think it was some point earlier in the day when Paige asked how to remember which one was which, and I said that Chip has a chocolate chip like nose, and Dale’s the derp derp of the two, Bahah!

Speaking of the derpy man himself, as the characters were finished their stage dancing, Dale came running off the stage and straight over to me! He gave me a super huge hug and then proceeded to lead me around in a TON of dancing, it was my own personal dance party!

It was a blast, and I was super happy to be handed a photopass card with the pictures on it as we finished up, it was nice to know that it had been documented, lol. We even took a little spin at tango-ing!

Yeah, best day ever with the dance parties…. Paige did say she felt bad because Dale was paying attention to me and there were some other kids around him trying to dance with him too. I didn’t feel that bad, lol, I know that it can mean the world to kids, but it can also mean the world to adults. And it’s not like we were secluded or anything, especially once we finished tango ing Dale did a little dance with a little girl too! Either way, I was super happy that Lyssa was able to arrange this special dance, it was super awesome to have a good dance, and we hoped we’d get to see her later in the week when she was hanging with Rapunzel.

Paige and I checked the time and realized that we had a date with the hub right now, so we said goodbye to Dale, blew him some kisses and waved while he continued to dance his little tail off and we sped walked back to the hub to grab a spot for a new show!

Paige and I had arrived over in the hub with just enough time to grab an awesome spot for Celebrate the Magic, and we had some time to sit before the show started to rest our feet. Now, this was a brand new show to Paige, and I had seen pieces of it in November, and seen the holiday version (if that’s a thing?) so we were pretty excited!

Paige of course freaked out at the Wreck It Ralph sequence! She had heard the sound effects of the show when we were in MK on Sunday and freaked then, but I told her we had to watch the whole show and we didn’t have time then, lol.

Rapunzel the lanterns are for yoooouuuuuuu!!!! That’s the moment that Paige started crying (pretty sure) and that I start to tear up. There’s just something so magical about seeing the lanterns and seeing them floating up the castle. *sigh* The moment that I lose it though, is, SURPRISE, the moment that Walt’s projected on the castle and goes “I hope we don’t lose sight of one thing, that it was all started by a mouse.”

FRICK. I’m crying right now. Can’t even type it. UGH MY FEEEEEEEEEELLLLLSSSSS..

Sersiously, this is why the DLR fireworks KILL ME! They have so much “Walt” in them that it just makes me emotional, and I was SUPER happy with Celebrate the Magic. So was Paige, I enjoy it a WHOLE lot more than MM&Y show. It includes a bunch of different movies that don’t get a whole lot of appreciation in the parks, and I find it more emotional, obviously, lol.

Happy tears subsided for now, we took a seat again to wait for Wishes to start. I know we both considered sitting for the show, and in fact I’m pretty sure we were until there was just too much commotion going on in front of us so we joined the crowd in the standing motion for the rest of the show.

*sigh*

Not a whole lot of pictures either! I’m impressed with us! Earlier in the trip Paige had mentioned that she wasn’t going to be taking as many pictures, because she’d seen it all already, and had a butt ton of photos, and wanted to really enjoy it this time. Clearly, we did. The moment that the Disney characters started “wishing” I started to try and prepare myself, but lo and behold, come the “Oh I wish, I wish I could be part of that world!” I was in tears. Paige of course expected this, and reached out and we held hands from there until Jiminy is all “Hu-ho, it’s the blue fairy!” and we were both crying, a world of MESSES that we were, so we hugged for the rest of the show.

UGH. Feelings.

Paige and I waited for the crowds to kind of clear out, and we decided that it was time for a bathroom break, and then a bit of a meal! After weaslign through the crowds we ended up in the bathroom over by the baby care station/Crystal Palace and then popped right next door to Casey’s! Surprisingly, the lines in there weren’t that bad, I feel like everyone walks in the door way and gets into one of those lines (which sucks because it blocks off the entire restaurant) but the line off to the far left was practically empty!

Paige and I debated over everything, I seriously always want one of everything when I’m in there. Ugh, too much food. We eventually decided on some corn dog nuggets each and a thing of nachos to share!

Corn Dog Nuggets: $4.49

Ball Park Nachos: $7.69

After a quick stop at the toppings bar we headed down Main Street and found a nice little spot to nom down while we waited for the parade to start!

2672_zpsf12bf156.jpg

2673_zps83d74bc3.jpg

Our nom thoughts?! DELICIOUS CORN DOG NUGGETS YOU ARE MY ONE TRUE LOOOOOVVVEEE!! Like, seriously, if I could swear right now to express just how much I love these things, I would…but this is a family place….and that’s unacceptable…They’re little deep fried goodness that just tastes absolutely amazing. If you like corn dogs, you’ll love these!

The nachos….not so much of a winner, I can’t lie. The put shredded cheese on top, but it wasn’t melted, at all, and that was it, like, there was cheese and chips on the nachos, and we added all the salsa, and the cheese sauce to attempt to make it better but that was unsuccessful. Lol

Casey’s Corner Review
-4/5
-It just gets WAY too crowded in there and it always seems to be busy, which is fine, but I do wish that it was easier to get in and out of! Even at not so busy times of the day, everyone seems to want some hot dogs, lol.
-The nachos just weren’t good
-Corn dog nuggets however and the hot dogs they have too) are very, very yummy!

Paige and I had been sitting on Main Street beside a large family on one side, and a mother and ADORABLE daughter on the other side. We were chatting a bit with the single mother/daughter about their trip, and how cute the little princess was, and she definitely knew it! Though it was in the good way, not the like, super high on themselves way.

Now, while we were doing all of this we noticed that there was something…interesting….about the family on the other side of us. There were three generations, I’m pretty sure, and the girls were all dressed up as princesses, pretty normal, right? Up until you look at the Mom, who is decked out in Snow White’s costume, complete with the red bow in her hair. Her older daughter was trying to get her attention and was all “Mom! Moommmm!” To which Mom turned around and said “I’m not Mom, I’m Snow White!!”

….that just happened…..

I also noticed that all of the adults were drinking out of like, Dixie cups, which was also interesting to say the least. The woman then continued to pretend she was Snow, attempting to princess walk, but it was more of a princess stumble, around the place. She then started waving to little kids leaving the parks, saying things like “Snow White says goodnight” and “be good tonight princess” and blowing them kisses and just acting it up like she really WAS Snow White. Parents and kids walking past were staring, and waving, and some of them were clearly “that lady’s wack” and some of them were actually “THAT’S SNOW WHITE”

….the lady then started taking pictures with people.

There’s a full grown woman dressed up as Snow White pretending to be her…she’s taking pictures with people….just no… #stop

And that was just the beginning….

Paige and I started discussing this, and talking about the shenanigans with the woman beside us, and just how wrong it was. Like, we all remember the “girl” who was dressed up as Tinkerbell over the summer, right? Clearly not everyone did. At one point she said “I don’t understand why there aren’t more adults dressed up!” To which I muttered “because it’s not allowed” Like, I don’t know how people cannot know that, or can’t get stopped on the way in, or anything. She continued to act like Snow, and take random pictures and do princess poses and everything. I desperately looked around for a cast member, but there weren’t any that were close, or really paying attention, despite the woman drawing a crowd. She also didn’t seem to care that she looked not so bright, as she was pretty judging of some others in costumes.

Just heard her say “there are damn Asians dressed up as fairies! #haveyoulookedinthemirror #ugh

And yes, I was live tweeting this the entire time…Lawl! I don’t understand why she was so offended by the girls we had seen earlier dressed up, when she was parading around like she WAS Snow. A few moments later, the smell I thought I had smelt earlier was confirmed, it definitely was a Chardonnay they were drinking out of their Dixie cups.

They just spilt a water bottle of wine all over the sidewalk #drypark #disneyprobs #seriousl!?

YUP. It was wine, and it was obviously snuck in. Now, being a young adult, I know my fair share about sneaking booze in and being able to drink it in somewhere that you’re not supposed to. The trick is you mix flavored vodka and water together, in a water bottle that you bought from a store, works for those summer events, people won’t look past a clear liquid in a water bottle. You also don’t bring Dixie cups to pour your beverage into, you simply swig from the bottle, doesn’t draw attention…tactics of my past aside…you DON’T DO THAT AT DISNEY!!

After spilling their wine all over the sidewalk they moved down 6 feet to not be around the wine smell #classy

I became pretty concerned at this point that someone would think it was Paige and I that had snuck in the booze, but at least we had our new friends to vouch for us, and we weren’t acting drunk at all, maybe a bit food drunk, but REALLY! People continued to come up to the drunk Snow White and ask for pictures, and I continued to bite my tongue, I could tell that she was the type of woman that wouldn’t be afraid to start a fight, and I certainly didn’t want to be kicked out of Magic Kingdom. My Disneybounding as Tink would probably also be a not so great thing in her eyes, so I avoided saying anything to anyone but Paige and the mother beside us. That is, until “Snow White” had a CROWD of people around her, and then I saw a little girl go running up with an autograph book in hand…

NOPE!!
I told Paige I couldn’t deal with it anymore, there’s something called character integrity, and this woman was screwing with it hardcore. I jumped into the glass shop and kinda browsed through the first couple of stores looking for a cast member that I could explain the situation to. Eventually in the art store was a younger girl who wasn’t super busy, so I started to explain what was going on, and the fact that this woman was impersonating Snow White. She immediately picked up the phone to call her supervisor, who apparently said “this better be good”, and the CM assured her it would be, and asked for me to stay to relay the story back to the supervisor as well.

I started off as I started off telling all of you guys, and the supervisor jumped on the phone with security before I was even half done the story, and the CM I had first talked to half stopped her saying “just wait, it gets better” and then I explained about the wine. I told them all where we had been sitting, and where the drunk Snow White was, and the supervisor told me to stick around as security might want to talk to me too.

Now, all of this was going on RIGHT as the parade was about to start, so I got back to Paige right in time, and told her what was going on. We definitely saw security officers looking through the crowd, and they couldn’t see the woman, as she had moved closer in with her family while I was gone. Oh, and for the record, she had ended up signing like, 6 autograph books according to Paige. I couldn’t just sit by and jumped up to the security guy and pointed her out to him, and as I was headed back to Paige, she noticed the security guy point me out to who she thought was the husband! EEK!

Just before the parade stated, the supervisor that I had talked to came out to Paige and I with a bag and handed it to me, thanking me for what I had done, and we thanked her for actually doing something about it, and inside the bag was a package of rice krispies!! Heck yes!!

Now….I do believe there’s a parade going on…..

Somewhere in the shenanigans that was going on, a family squeezed in behind/beside us and we let the kids have the spot that we had been sitting in, I mean, they were sitting anyways, so we could easily see over them.

I am absolutely in LOVE with this next picture!

290_zpsfd544f5d.jpg

294_zps373e0410.jpg

The dwarves were all SUPER adorable and excited to see the little Snow White that was beside us, and the one that’s in the float on our side blew a kiss and bowed to her, it was SO CUTE! She got a lot of attention during the parade!

297_zps6fac1ad6.jpg

Now, if you all remember, Paige said she saw the security guard point me out to the husband of drunk Snow White, and all through the parade, I was kind of worried that out of nowhere I was going to get a punch to the face, but I knew there were security roving the area to kick out drunk Snow when the parade ended. As the parade was finishing up, I did keep my eye open behind me, and noticed one of the uniformed security guys beckoning me over so I told Paige I’d be right back and ducked off to talk to him. He was with a plain clothed security guard, who must have been who Paige thought was the Dad earlier, who asked me a couple questions. The basic “re tell the story” kind of thing, and then asked for my name, contact phone number and if I was a cast member.

298_zps5e2361bf.jpg

299_zps66b290a5.jpg

When we were going through pictures later I was all “what the heck?! We didn’t see this part of the parade?!” And then realized it was while I was talking with security, and they’re Paige’s pictures, lol. DERP. Paige joined me once the parade was finished going past and we decided to check out some of the stores on our way out to try and avoid the bus crowds back to Pop.

When we got to the art store, the original CM I had talked to asked what ended up happening, as there was some point that they couldn’t find drunk Snow White, or me, and I updated her on the situation. While we were talking, there had been another couple that had kind of been talking to her, I think they might have been her parents, or some form of family, that the woman was all “THAT’S THEM!” And pointed to us, and then explained that she had just been telling the CM about how there were two girls dancing all out to the Move It Shake It, and apparently the CM had been in it in the past! Awesome! And small world, bahah!

Finally, we made our way to the end of Main Street, where drunk Snow White was nowhere in sight! We ended up walking out on the right hand side of the train station, and I had this “someone’s watching us” feeling, and looked up, and there were a bunch of cast members up in the train station with Mickey gloves waving goodnight to everyone! I don’t know what it was, but Paige and I were super excited about this, and probably a little emotional. Then we made our way back to the bus and back to Pop, where I busted out the rice krispies, and here’s a picture to show you just how huge they were!

YUM!

Paige and I had been debating throughout the day what we were going to do with our next day, it had originally been planned to go over to Universal to check out Wizarding World of Harry Potter, but we soon started adding up the ticket price, cab to get there and back, and the fact that it would really only be 3 rides, and shopping that neither of us could really do. I posted on twitter what people thought we should do, but no one replied. By the end of the day, we decided that we would sleep in a bit, and just relax at Epcot in the morning, then hop to MK for our special dance parade party, and then back to Epcot for dinner. Plans made, we showered, and got ready for bed!

So, one VERY long winded update short, I got someone kicked out of Magic Kingdom because they were impersonating a character and had snuck booze in. Sucks to be you. I was also all over the disboards checking if anyone else had seen it and was posting about it, but NEVER saw anything about it and didn’t want to be the one who started the thread, lawl!

Summary of our Magic Kingdom Day!
Food of the Day: The Lemon Murienge Cupcake from Be Our Guest. YUM

Ups of the Day
-Move it Shake it Celebrate It
-Our new stilts friend, who, we dubbed “Stiltskin” like, originally it was Rumplestiltskin, but then I just kept thinking of Once Upon A Time, so we shortened it.
-The dance party with Dale
-All the amazing character luck
-Shout outs to Paige during the parade!
-Free rice krispies!

Downs of the Day
-Rain
-Drunk Snow White (although that could go either way really)

Love the dancing pictures, especially that I got to see your real smile! :goodvibes

I had to skip the pics of the castle projection show, because I want to be surprised when we see it in 37 days!!! :cool1:

I have to know what happened to that mom- adults aren't allowed to wear costumes in WDW right (except MNSSHP of course)? I sure hope that drunk Snow White was escorted out.

Nice ninja post!! Got in there before I'd even linked and edited everything!! :thumbsup2

Ahaha, thanks!!

AH SO CLOOOOSE!! So excited for you guys!!

I'm pretty sure she was escorted out. Obviously they wouldn't ban her for the day as it was the end of the day. If it had just been the costume, I'm sure she would've just been escorted out, but because of the sneaking in alcohol I don't know if they would've been banned or something?? I dunno, that feels extreme, but they did sneak it in, knowing it wasn't allowed...:confused3 I wish I knew!

Ok, I was posting at the same time as you.

Thank goodness that you told a CM about that woman! As the mom of a kid who barely believes in characters at this point, I was outraged! That woman could have undone a whole lot of magic that night. You totally did the right thing.

Those rice krispy treats look awesome! They are huge!

Haha, yes, I love that spider.

That was a SUPER COOL dance party mash up with Dale. And absolutely true that adults need love too. I never noticed photographers there before though. Very cool to have that captured.

Emotions and tears during Wishes and Celebrate The Magic. I sooooo approve.

OK, wow. Just wow, that is some story. I guess there's no doubt that this person must have snuck in the Snow White costume because they certainly wouldn't have let her in dressed like that. Too bad you didn't get a photo.

But seriously GOOD FOR YOU for trying to do something about it. When you have little kids going up to this drunk person thinking she's Snow White. So awful.
Seriously :thanks: for telling someone. You're a hero!!!

That was an awesome story. I would have been photodocumenting the whole thing. "And this is when they spilled their wine." "And then this happened." I'm surprised security wasn't there sooner. I feel like they're hiding everywhere.

Wow that was a long update!

Too bad you got a bad captain on JC. A good captain is what makes that ride great!

I loved the gazing at the castle picture!

Paige got an awesome score on Buzz. I kind of became obsessed with getting a good score last trip but I don't think I scored over 300,000.

What a great experience with the dance party! I loved watching it but never did get out and dance. What a nice suprise to get the whole thing documented with PP.

Your Celebrate the Magic and Wishes photos made me tear up. I want to be back at Disney right now so bad!

Good for you to report that lady posing as Snow White! I was getting mad just reading about it!

Great update! I can't wait to see the new nighttime castle show in Oct. I loved the MM&Y so I should love this 1 too :thumbsup2

That "Snow White" story is crazy! Good for you to point it out, a grown woman parading as a character is ridiculous! We've caught teenagers sneaking in booze before when working, but an adult? Grow up! :sad2: Glad you were there and took care of it! And glad to hear they took it seriously and responded like that!

Ah I've never seen Chip and Dale out in Frontierland! They look so cute in those costumes.

And that friend of Rosetta is really really pretty! Hahaha I wonder if she does know of the Disboards!

Walking onto Space Mountain is definitely a cause for excitement!

Omg the sad photopass photos with the Main St bakery are so cute. And definitely a cause for sadness.

I love the semi-Dream Along with Mickey show pictures! That Wendy is 2100% perfect. I love that you found her friend on Tumblr! I tried making a Tumblr once but I couldn't quite get the hang of it. Plus it makes me sad that to find anyone you know on any social media sites, you basically need Facebook which I don't use.

YAY Celebrate A Dream. Your TRs never disappoint me with parade pictures! :cool1:

I love that they were blowing kisses and saying Happy Birthday to Paige. When in Disney, that stuff is totally fun no matter what your age.

Also, love the game of tag with the characters. Totally an awesome thing for them to do.

Ah I can totally understand why you get mistaken for a CM! You just belong. It's a sign of things to come, I'm sure of it.

Yay the real DAWM! Love all the photos. I totally understand- it makes me teary when I see it too (when the show is interrupted by wrestling Presley away from security :rotfl:). It's just one of those things that is so Disney that I can't help it!

Confession time. We've never stopped to watch Move It, Shake It, Celebrate It. I think this needs to change considering how much you guys love it.

I love the picture of you two looking at the castle. I think I'm gonna have to start making a list of all the fun picture ideas you come up with for September!

Love the photos from the dance party!

AH CELEBRATE THE MAGIC. Another of my favorite things. I totally cried during it too. And Jen and Rick were kinda giving me that "really?" look but I didn't care. It's adorable and amazing. And Walt is in it!

Oh boy this snow white lady sounds like a problem...

Onto the next update to hear the end. UGH. I'm glad you said something. That's definitely just not ok. And I feel like in situations like that I'm always awkward like um what do I do about this? So, I'm glad you reacted and that the CMs did something about it:thumbsup2

Hi Katt,
I've been a lurker of your TRs for quite some time and just wanted to tell you I have enjoyed reading all your reports.
Your love of all things Disney really shines through and I like your enthusiasm and energy! :thumbsup2

You also take fabulous pictures! What kind of camera do you use?

I just had a couple comments from your last updates - thank you for reporting the psuedo-Snow! What a freak - disrespecting Walt's original princess and signing autorgaphs. :sad2:

The Peter Pan in the DAWM has been around for a while. I have a picture of him with my daughter from 5 years ago. He was doing meet & greets then and I remember him because her meet and greet with him was awesome.

Love that you got on the street and danced during Move-it Shake-it! I wish I wasn't so shy. Inside I always want to participate but then my stupid inhibitions get in the way.

Can't wait to read more and I sincerely hope all your Disney dreams come true - I'm sure they will with all your talent and determination! pixiedust:

Good for you for saying something to a cast member about fake Snow White. It's one thing for her to sneak in booze and make a fool of herself, but a completely different thing once you start signing autographs and impersonating a character. I would have done that same thing.
That's awesome you guys got recognized from dancing in that parade, what a great moment. And some pretty fun character greets. Looks like a great day.

Ahahah, ninja!! Oh my gosh it KILLED ME. The first little girl that went up had this HUGE grin and her eyes were huge, like, she was feelin the magic, and it hurt to see her go up to someone that wasn't actually a CM...

It was great!! I was super happy to get to see Dale while Lyssa was hanging out with him! Hopefully dance parties like that are in my future! I was pleasantly surprised to get a pp card out of it, LOVE IT! I also mentioned to Paige that we should try and get a pp to get pics of us during MiSi the next time!

Who knows?! Sometimes Disney security at the gate isn't that bad. I mean, the Tinkerbell girl got into one park with the costume on, and then at AK they wouldn't let her in, it depends so much. They might've thought "oh she won't cause any trouble"

It was not cool. I was dying sitting their watching it, I was just super glad the little girl beside us knew that she wasn't actually Snow.

That was an awesome story. I would have been photodocumenting the whole thing. "And this is when they spilled their wine." "And then this happened." I'm surprised security wasn't there sooner. I feel like they're hiding everywhere.

Ahahaha, I was definitely live tweeting it, photos would've made it better. I was SERIOUSLY SURPRISED there was no CM on it earlier, I was a little outraged! Like, there were parade control and custodial roaming through the area, and we all know their security comes out of the walls, but maybe they just didn't care too much as it was nearing the end of the night?

Ahaha, yeah...

Thanks!! And yeah, JC really can depend on the Skipper, so sad it's going to be closed in Sept! :worried:

It certainly was a pixie dusted moment, even if it was half planned, it was still awesome!

UGH! Tell me about it!! All I want is to be down there again, for permanent lol.

Awesome update! :)

Thanks! :cool1:

Great update! I can't wait to see the new nighttime castle show in Oct. I loved the MM&Y so I should love this 1 too :thumbsup2

That "Snow White" story is crazy! Good for you to point it out, a grown woman parading as a character is ridiculous! We've caught teenagers sneaking in booze before when working, but an adult? Grow up! :sad2: Glad you were there and took care of it! And glad to hear they took it seriously and responded like that!

It's awesome!! You'll definitely like it!!

I KNOOOOWW! I was dying, like, I couldn't believe it, especially some of the stuff she was saying, it just wasn't cool. Like, I'd love to dress up, but I don't want to get in trouble, or be mistaken for a character. MNSSHP was awkward enough when I was Alice, lol. I'm super glad they were helpful and the rice krispies were an added bonus!!:yay:

They're ADORABLE! I'm guessing they took Frontierland Donald's spot, and aren't out over in Tomorrowland anymore in the mornings...maybe because of the dance party? :confused3

She was great! And yeah, walking onto any ride would be great but I def didn't expect it that time of day with Space!

Ahahaha, tumblr is super confusing at first, and even harder to describe, it's also a place that I only follow like, 3 people that I know in real life, it's all about finding people in the fandoms your in and just living out that part of your life? Lol...it's odd

Hahaha, I like to take pictures! What can I say?! Lawl. And Paige really did love all the attention, it was super adorable! Ahaha, I HOPE SO! I get mistaken for a CM more than anything else, including entertainment, hopefully it's a good sign!

AH! We'll we'll be in MK a few days together in Sept!! I don't know what time you'll be getting there on the first day but if you'll be there in time we can dance it up!!

Thanks! I definitely have a list of goals for Sept! Hopefully they all get achieved this time lol.

I definitely didn't know what to do at first. I kind of thought there were enough CM's around to take care of it, but they didn't seem to mind, so I just let it be. But when it started getting worse and worse, I couldn't sit there anymore!

Good for you for saying something to a cast member about fake Snow White. It's one thing for her to sneak in booze and make a fool of herself, but a completely different thing once you start signing autographs and impersonating a character. I would have done that same thing.

Thank you1 Yeah....the two combined was just too much for me to deal with. Had it been one of the two it wouldn't have been that bad, but once the autographs started, I needed to stop it! Haha, it was great! We had a fantastic day!

HI! glad you stopped in to say hello! I use a Canon SX-260. It's a little point and shoot, but the lens is awesome!

It was so not cool. I'm glad you guys have all agreed.

Awesome!! I would've loved to see him in a meet and greet!!

Aww! It's usually only with Paige that I've been out and danced. Last month Amanda and I got pulled out by Frozone even though we weren't planning on it haha!

Thank you!! We'll find out in two weeks!

Hi friends! I just wanted to pop in here and say a couple of things!

First: thank you all for following along and reading and commenting! I love all of you!! I'm glad you're reading along and enjoying it enough to stay! Especially those of you who have trucked through every TR, and even you lurkers!

Second; Thank you all for being in support of the whole Snow White thing, it was an interesting night to say the least!

Third: over these next two days of our trip Paige and I took a DRASTICALLY low amount of photos! We mainly did characters today, and used PP and Paige's camera, because we don't need a million of the same picture from different cameras. THUS, these updates are mainly talking and words and might be a little bit longer...

*****************

It was Wednesday Feb 27th and it was our third full day in the parks! Paige and I had made the decision before going to sleep that we were just going to stick to what we had already paid for, Disney! So today started with a little bit of a sleep in and slowly getting ready. Of course, sleeping in at Disney doesn’t really count as actually sleeping in, so we were up at 7:45 and getting ready at a usual pace! I’m also going to warn you, we don’t have many pictures from today…lol.

Off for a day in Epcot ahead of us. Disneybounding as Ariel and Rapunzel!

You’ll see more of our outfits later…lol. I also had earrings that were ships! And Paige had a TON of flowers down her braid. I was also going to make a dinglehopper bracelet, but totally forgot! Next time! While we were on the bus, it was packed, and standing room only, and there was the CUTEST thing ever.

Just saw the cutest little boy being the best big brother ever and helping his younger siblings on and off the bus

Mom and Dad had thought there was enough room, which there was, but because they had a double stroller, and it was one of the older busses, the stroller wouldn’t fit! Eeek! The little boy literally picked up his younger siblings and carried them up the stairs onto the bus, and when they wouldn’t fit, he carried them back down. BEST EVER! I really hope my kids are that well behaved!

Even with taking it a bit slower today, we managed to still be at Epcot at 9:30, baha! That is exactly my kind of sleep in!

My hair was originally kind of curly, bahah! I’ve been using “Curls Rock by Catwalk” Jess suggested it, and it kind of works for my hair, I think I’m going to look into if they have shampoo too. I had originally planned on actually curling my hair with my curling iron, but I knew it wouldn’t last through a whole day, but if we had gone to WWoHP, we would’ve had a midday break. Nonetheless, it still looked decent, baha!

Since Paige and I had both not done Test Track recently, as it was under refurb last trip, we decided we’d head there first, and then grab some Soarin fast passes!

TEST TRACK BABY! Time to check out the new one! #epcot

Lookin pretty spiffy from the outside! The wait time was posted at 30 minutes, so we figured we’d just jump in, it couldn’t be that bad! Lawls. We curved through the queue a few times, there’s a bunch of hi tech stuff in there, a fancy car, a fancy car taken apart, some screens showing you about different things.

After going up and around the corner, we were told that we were to either pick up a card, or use our KTTWC for the rest of the experience, and then moved into line ups infront of the “design studio” they have your entire party stand on/around one dot that is color coded and has a number on it!

Princesses ready to take on Test Track!

112_zpsda75e8da.jpg

After waiting what seriously felt like forever, we were let into the design studio, where there is a corresponding computer screen to your colored number, and you tap your KTTWC onto a thinger and then you create your car based on a bunch of different things such as speed, agility, power, etc.

11_zps730ab63f.jpg

What did Paige and I do? Well…create the most ridiculously awesomely hilarious car that we could….

Our Test Track car design ROCKS

14_zps295aed40.jpg

Yup. We’re that awesome. Make it hot pink, with sparkles, and MONSTEROUS. We were very disappointed that this wouldn’t be the car we were actually going to board, because that would be fantastic!

Then after you’re done designing, you kinda wait a little bit, and are brought into the next room with a queue, which was the exact same room as the loading dock before, with some different lights and stuff. When you’re assigned a row, you scan the card again on another thinger and it will “register” with the ride vehicle.

17_zps9f10f3ba.jpg

And then we boarded and were on our way to “test our car”. Now, this is where I go BOOURNS. SERIOUSLY?! It’s the EXACT same ride, but way LAMER and everything looks like Tron…..like…that’s it. The “scores” for all the tests are supposed to show up on screens after the test, but half the time it wasn’t the right ride vehicle. Paige and I did have a good laugh because every time that it did work properly, we were at the bottom. The best part was when we were outside, and even it didn’t feel as fast…and I spent the entire interior part prepping myself for the truck that comes out of nowhere, but it didn’t happen, or if did, it was like, at an angle to the track, not head on like before.

Nonetheless, we were both kinda disappointed, I also didn’t get a ride picture, bahah! With our car testing behind us, Paige and I cut into Mousegears. While we were in there, a CM came up to us and asked if we needed anything, and we said that we were just cutting through to get to the Land, and we were fine, and he kind of snapped back that the proper way was to go out the side doors, not the way we were headed. It definitely put me off, like it was early in the day, and you should be WANTING us to stay in your store and buy things, not shoo us out of there like you did.

Plus I’m pretty sure that I was right and the way I was headed was shorter, because we would have cut behind the character spot building, where it would have been less crowded…..but whatever! Soon enough we were over at in the Land basking in all its glory and lovely, amazing scents! Like seriously, the first couple of times that I would walk in there I would be all “I don’t know what everyone’s talking about, it doesn’t smell amazing in here..” and now I’m all “ADSASODNASFNDGDDDAF THE LAND SMELLS SOOOOO GOOOOOODDDDDDDDDD” I’ll hopefully eat at the Garden Grill at some point, hmmm…maybe my audition trip? Who knoooows?!

Sadly we were only in there for a few minutes while we grabbed fast passes. To kill some time on the way over to World Showcase we browsed through a couple of shops, and Paige asked about “the place with the sodas” as we’d skipped it last time. Sure, why not?! Right? So we walked into Club Cool and I of course grabbed her a thing of the Beverly, she asked what it was and I simply said “just try it, I’m having some too!” Man….I wish I had been videoing, or got a picture, or SOMETHING, because she made the most epic of EEEWW faces. We then chased away the horrible tastes with some different sodas from around the world, and then it was time to go explore the world!
