Delta on my local news...

There is a book called 'What's the Matter with Kansas' It talks about how people have been convinced to think and vote against their own best interests.
I think you have a very low opinion of the general public, and I believe you should give people more credit. The general public aren't dummies; they simply disagree with you.

I am sorry that I ever spoke of my negative feelings toward unions. I didn't mean to start anything like this. There is already a cloud fo gloom hanging over alot of our heads with the delta situation, so this the last thing that anyone needed. Again I am sorry that I started this, enough time spent on this, time to get back to praying for delta to make it through this!!

Sounds like a plan, wdwfamilyinIL. Rest assured, it would be better for everyone, the pilots, the airline, and the passengers, if they just came to a mutually-agreeable resolution, without any nastiness of a strike or anything like that. I'm sure they're all vigorously working towards that aim. :cheer2:

Bicker I am beginning to realize that your not really a bad sort of person and I am wondering if we can just agree to disagree on some points and maybe be friends( well as much as friends as we can be since we have never met each other and don't really know each other bean from Adam)

You are right, unfortunately I do believe that people can be fooled quite easily. they voted for our current president, sort of twice, although not really. they believe his lies about Iraq and its connections to 9/11 ( NONE ). He makes up a slogan 'compasionate conservative'. It means he feels bad as he cuts education spending, he feels bad as he cuts and cuts from the poor and gives and gives to the rich. His compasion is all for the haves, none for the have nots. The lowest level political ads get people to believe the lies. People don't investigate what they are being told. They watch the 10 second sound bites and take it as gospel. it is easy for polititians to scare people into thinking what is bad for them is good. People think they are being taxed too much and that cutting taxes sounds good. But their taxes get cut a little while the rich get a huge cut. Just to make things clear, my wife and I make what many people would consider us to be rich. We benefit from these tax cuts. I just think it is all wrong.

SOOOOOO,
when is it that I will know for certain if I need to find an alternate mode of transportation to WDW on May 6th?...April 15th?

We'll have some idea after April 15, but won't know for sure that day.

ok, have a question. I contacted my local Delta counter here and was told that because my flight is a codeshare :confused3 flight that I would have nothing to worry about. That doesn't seem right to me. Anybody else out there know anything about codeshare flights?
