I batted my eyelashes at Marc and he said you might as well get it.WOO HOO!
I really like the backpack, it's super cute. I did have a very productive day yesterday, it was fun doing some Disney purchases.I love your Sword in the Stone pins! I need to start looking for some traders for my very, very, distant trip in December..... maybe that will make me feel better since I'm missing out on the fall fun.
You did really good on your bag purchase! I think you will be able to get everything you need in that one and it will be comfortable to carry as well! Plus it's super cute, I think that design is very cool!
It looks like you are prepared for the feet, you had a very productive day!
I agree, the cross-body bags seem to bother my shoulder, so I am really looking forward to the backpack. You seem to have the blister care covered!I love that friction block stick, worked so well for me when we were in PA.
LOVE the new backpack. We bring a backpack with us to the parks and stuff all our baby items in it. It is really great and doesn't seem to bother me as much as a cross-body bag.
Super sticky, eh? It does say they can last a few days which is nice. I am very much hoping I won't even have to use them though.Ooooo, I love that backpack! Jansport has some cute patterns out there nowadays. I think you'll do great with it!
I used those same Target blister band-aids. I didn't actually get a blister from my shoes but got eaten alive by bugs one of the first nights (yes, I'm afraid there are mosquitoes at Disney) and my sandal strap rubbed right on one of the bites. The blister things worked great and they are flesh colored so you can't even see them! One warning though-they are SUPER sticky so getting them off can be, ahem, *interesting* sometimes.![]()
I love those blister blocks LL. I have Bandaid brand ones... but I'm down to my last one...me thinks I'll get the Target ones before September... maybe 2 packs... so I can leave one down there in my purple locker
Are you going to trade the Fireman Mickey Pin???? If you are... trade it with me *bats eyelashes* I get Tom all the fire ones and i haven't found that one
I'm thinking about a vera mailbag for this trip too. I like that you liked it. A backpack is great... but I hate the unavailablity of my camera with a backpack... so I want something else. The again my bucket tote worked fine for me the last time too... and the bigger the bag...the more stuff I'm compelled to lug around with me
Paula
You do not need a new backpack! Yours is like Mary Poppins carpet bag, you don't need to go shopping. I am so not an enabler.OOOH....I love the backpack...now I think I want a new one that has pretty designs on it...see what PTRs do to me...of course I need new shoes too LOL~~
If you are in the pin trading business...ummm I will trade you for the Princess Aurora oneI don't have one of her yet LOL!!!!!!
Glad you got the bandaid stuffs...I too have been buying bandaids and blizter prevention. Haven't bought the bandaid cushions yet but the ones at Target look very nice so maybe I'll need to take a trip in that direction soon. That is where I got my backpack LOL!!
Hmmm I didn't think about the whole bringing a smaller bag for MNSSHP...hmmm I don't know if my hipster will work...I might just have to cave and look at the mail bag cuz the cargo sling almost seems to big LOL...
Look what your PTR has done to me...first I bought clothes and now this LOL
You are an enabler!
Good luck with the pin addiction, it happens before you even know it!I love Disney shopping!!Well, I'd say that you are on top of the blister prevention patrol!
Good for you. We don't want a repeat.
Your pins are cute. That's one of the few Disney addictions that hasn't claimed me yet... although I can feel myself weakening when I see cute ones. Whatever happened to your pin board you made? It was originally for the bathroom but I think you decided the humidity might hurt it?
Cute backpack. Huh, Marc knew what he was talking about. Who knew?I think I'm sticking with Vera this trip. I think.

I know that Vera has plain material...isn't it a microfiber one. I don't know if they have the mailbag but they might...I size of the mailbag looks perfect for me for my solo trip but I'm not into the Vera fabrics. Has anyone come across something similiar but in different fabric/colors???
Looking forward to your PM.I was just looking at all that same type of stuff yesterday. I was hunting for moleskin, but they didn't have any. I saw all of those other wonderful items, though, and will be making a decision and purchase in the next few days. Moleskin works very nicely for me, so that will be my first option, if I can find it. It's crazy that it's so fun to browse foot care products, but when you know it means you are about to leave for Disney World, there is just something exciting about it!
I bought everybody a pack of regular no-show socks yesterday, but I think I'll stop at Dick's Sporting Goods this week and see about some of the special ones.
Your bag is great! I've been giving some thought to a backpack, because the bag I always take wears on my shoulder sometimes. I may try a backpack and see if I like it any better, even though it will seem so different for me. I have always had a bag/purse on my left shoulder.
I will PM you about Facebook. The kids have been after me to get on it for a while, and I finally did. I have enjoyed seeing pictures of friends and their families. It's cool to catch up with people I knew when I was living in other states. They all look like old people, though!![]()
Have a good Sunday, LL and Marc!
It was a very good shopping day! What pattern are you going to get the mailbag in??Oh, you had a good shopping day yesterday, LL! Love all the stuff you bought for your trip. I think I am going to have to get the mailbag for the October trip -- I am finding it hard to resist.
The backpack looks great -- you will be able to put so much stuff in there!
The pins are very cool -- I am trying to stay away from them for now since I have a new trip to save for.![]()
Me? Or MeMom? I am looking for double layer cool max socks. The double layer is supposed to help prevent blisters. What kind of socks are you looking for?????
I have not eaten at the Bistro but I adore CHEFS. YUM!I'm all caught up and 1- Love all your ADRs esp interested in Chefs de France- have you ever eaten at the bistro? If so did you like one better than the other? 2-on all of the first aid stuff for your feet, you can never be too careful!! I don't usually get blisters but I DO get killer shin splints
and 3- Love the cute design on your new Jansport

Thank you! Paula aka ILuvCrush had a DISign thread and she did them, not sure if she is still doing them though.Quick question! Where do you get the green DIS mickey heads? I would love one of these for our december trip! Thanks and I love all your PTR and TRs!!!!
I think it's a good idea...Celebration of Hotness. That white and black top is just adorable! It's so feminine and will look lovely with your black capris.
And yay for a new bag! I'm glad to you were able to figure out what will work best for you. We end up carrying a backpack for all of Henry's gear (goes in the bottom of the stroller), and I'm guessing we'll be carrying that for years to come! I like the pattern on the backpack, and SCORE for it being on sale!
I hope all the blister prevention gear, along with your new sneakers help.
I LOVE the idea of adding the Celebration of Hotness to your ADR.![]()
As long as we're talking about trading amongst ourselves, I would like to lay claim to the Prince dipping Snow White....

I'm with Jen, PTRs have got me making shirts, buying shoes and travel size items and now backpacks. That backpack is to die for and I must have one just like it!
I new you would get a bag!I tell you I have one of those that I have used for the last 3 trips and love it. Mine is an ugly manly color so my boys will help carry it, but I do love my backpack.
Must have the Fireman Mickey pin. I am off to search ebay.![]()
It was a very good shopping day! What pattern are you going to get the mailbag in??
