I have a few things to share with you all!
I went shopping today with Marc, trying to find some chairs for our balcony. No luck. But I made a few trip purchases.
I am going all out with my blister prevention/treatment products! I bought the little ace bandages at the dollar store. I thought they might be good if I do indeed get blisters to have more protection.
I also bought some special blister bandages that help treat them from Target. This is what the look like close up.
I picked up the Bandaid Friction Block stick too.
I am quite excited about the lens cleaning cloths I picked up at the dollar store too. There are two in that package and it has a nice durable plastic carrying case too. I never have anything to carry them in, it even flips open. I hate smudged glasses and camera lens!
Since I had my camera out I took a few more trip related photos.
My phone that I purchased for enhanced Twitter updates while in Disney, I have even figured out how to text pictures too. So if you followed me on my last trip I will now have pictures to share when I am down there. (Disney wasn't the only reason I purchased this, I have a texting addiction)
Here is my
Twitter link if you care to follow along. I also link them to my Facebook page so if you would like to follow along that way, you can PM me and I'll add you.
I've ordered two sets of pins from Ebay in the last few weeks.
This one is to keep, I love The Sword in the Stone!
These ones I bought to trade....I got some good ones. I might have to buy some more....
The mixed lot was 12 pins for $18 with shipping. I didn't think that was too bad. I'm really excited to trade pins again. I was able to find some good ones in May. It's like a big scavenger hunt!
I know you have all been anticipating my park bag choice...well it changed today.
Last trip I took the Vera Bradley Mail Bag.
Now....I liked it a lot. It made my shoulder a little sore at times because I had a lot of stuff in it but nothing I couldn't handle. What was different about this trip was that Jen had a backpack. I call it her magic backpack! She had everything you could possibly need in that thing and I loved having the ability to bring more to the parks. I decided that I should try a backpack next trip.
When I got home and told Marc he was thrilled with himself because he has been telling me that all along. Marc has a EMS backpack which is great, a little manly since it is blue but I was planning on bring that and my mailbag. I figure the mailbag will be good on nights when I don't have as much or for
MNSSHP when I don't want to be weighed down as much. Marc was going to get a new bag for his music equipment and I was going to adopt his backpack.
Well today we went to the Sports Authority in the search of socks (still looking by the way) and they had a bunch of Jansport backpacks on display which happened to be on sale. I tried on a few and fell in love with this one.
You can't really tell but it's a really dark purple. It's quite cute. It was on sale for $29.97. I batted my eyelashes at Marc and he said you might as well get it.

WOO HOO!
We took it up to the register and it rang up as $24.97! It was meant to be. LL has a new bag! You all got your wish! I still plan to do the backpack/mailbag rotation. I think that will be the best thing for me. I put a bunch of stuff in the backpack from our shopping trip today and wore it to walk up the 3 flights of stairs to our apartment. I couldn't get over how great it felt on my back and how much easier it was to carry the weight that way. Again, Marc is thrilled that he's been saying this for over a year now.
