December trip recommendations

It looks like we are going to have to reschedule our trip and the only time we can go is after our daughter's college finals. I am looking at either the week of Christmas or the 1st week of January. For those of y'all who have been during these times, which week would you choose and why?

Early Jan imo if you miss the new years boom things tend to die down.

I would vote for the week of Christmas if going this year. Things will probably not be back up to full capacity yet, so it would be a great time to experience WDW at Christmas time without all of the insane crowds. If you look back at any of the posts about Christmas 2020, people were really quite positive about it.
