I hesitate to step in because I'm not directly involved, but I did exchange PM's with Tacomaranch last weekend expressing my concern about the large group size (I think I posted on this thread too). She asked for my recommendation, and I recommended that the group be split into 2 accounts, which she said she was going to do.

I believe she's also leader of a group in Oct. that's just finishing up. I don't know her personally, and have no idea of any past history, but it certainly sounded to me like she was actually getting ready to order CD's for her other group. I hope that this gets worked out and that everyone receives their Photopass CD's just fine.

Please accept my appologies but my family is also opting out of the Group #5 photopass sharing. Whatever controversy is circulating I hope that April and her family is coping well. These boards are obviously a big part of her life as is Disney. I am viewing this situation as a sign that I should not be taking chances with family memories by saving a buck. Disney is not cheap but our pictures and memories are pricless and I realize that even with the best of intentions plans fall apart. April I hope you hold no ill feelings toward us as we have none toward you.

It is my understanding that there is group that has another board that prides itself on causing trouble on the dis. The title of the board is something like that.

I am their new person to get. The lessons learned is not to put up pictures and personal information on the net.

I do understand those who want to leave, I will put a new row in the spreadsheet and send back you payment. I will also try to find you new leaders.

I have opted out of group 5 Tacomaranch's group. I need a new group to be in. Our dates are 12/15- 12/22. I have already sent payment to Tacomaranch, she stated she would refund promptly.

I am ready to send payment to another leader if someone will take me in!

Why would a group of 13 need to each send $20? That is $260 for something that you can prepay $99 for. There is a little extra needed for postage to send the CDs and to cover the cost of the CD, but no way is it $160!!!!!

It wasn't 1 group of 13 - we voted to be 2 groups of 7 each - the cost would have been much less if we remained the larger group.

I will say I was asked to send in $20 when we are a group of 10 then it changed to $17 for a group of 11 and lastly $14 for a group of 13 so it's not as outrageous as thought. Although the numbers don't completely add up. I guess it is hard to determine the final price until your group is settled. But now looking at it $14 for a group of 13 would have been $179 and if you are preordering the disc for $99 .... I would be interested in what other groups are paying... do you count on the pre order or the 129 price?

That's aweful if true... the Original Thread that was linked here seemed to be specific to posts that were here on the DIS, and not on some other board (Didnt know a board like that existed)... and about some discrepancies in stories you told here on the DIS boards. I hope it was just a misunderstanding on everyone' part, and that your posts weren't meant to be deceitful.

You are not in our group! You never sent her money because I check it for her. You my friend need to find who you leader is because you were never in or part of group 5
