I've just about convinced my mother to join me on a trip to WDW. We were at Disneyland in April and had a blast. First time either of us will be in Florida. Is it better to go from Dec. 2 - 12 or from Feb. 3 - 13. We would be staying at a value resort (most likely Pop Century).
Also is the christmas party ticket event at MK worth the price?

That's an easy one! December! The Christmas decor are awesome! Yes, I went with my mom and daughter to the MVMCP about 4 years ago and we just had a blast! It's worth it!

I think it would be much less crowded in early February ... but, the weather then will be a lot more dicey and probably much colder as well. I vote for early December! :thumbsup2

December, hands-down. Nothing going on in February except bad weather around the country - so you risk your flights/travel being delayed or cancelled. December is nice - still shortsleeved shirt weather in the early weeks, plus you have Osborne Lights, Santas around the world, Candlelight Processional, the Christmas Parade, MVMCP, So much going on.

Thanks everyone. I was leaning toward December anyway so will use this info to convince my mom. Bonus will be I could celebrate my birthday with Mickey. :yay:

December! Love those Christmas decorations. It still might be chilly in early December, but it could likely be chilly in early February too!

Lots of people aren't vacationing after Thanksgiving because they're too busy getting ready for Christmas. And the resorts are all priced at value rates.

See you there :wave2: We'll be at Pop 12/5 - 12/13
